📚OCC NEWS JOURNAL

The Opol Community College TESDA team, represented by Dr. Neilson Bation, College President, Ms. Odette Galangke, TESDA Focal Person, and Dr. Rogelyn Abubacar, Director of the Center for Student Development and Leadership, recently visited the TESDA Regional Office to discuss plans for offering short courses at OCC. The meeting focused on forging a partnership to enhance educational opportunities for the community, with the goal of launching these programs in the near future.

The team was warmly received by RD Rafael Abrogar II, Regional Director, and Mr. Joseph Rod Logon, Regional Operations Division, who expressed their support for the initiative. This collaboration is expected to provide valuable skill development opportunities and contribute to the region's workforce development.

This activity aligns primarily with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education. The collaboration between OCC and TESDA aims to enhance educational opportunities by offering short courses, supporting the goal of ensuring inclusive, equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. It also contributes to SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by providing skill development opportunities that support workforce growth and improve employment prospects in the local community.

The visit marks an important step in strengthening the partnership between OCC and TESDA, paving the way for the introduction of new short courses that will benefit students and the local community.

Ang maong accreditation usa ka konkreto nga tubag sa padayon nga pagsaka sa gidaghanon sa mga pasyente nga nagkinahanglan og dialysis treatment, ug sa dako nga panginahanglan sa rehiyon sa mga kwalipikado ug certified nga hemodialysis technicians.

Gilauman usab nga masundan kini sa pag-abli sa training alang sa Surgery Technicians, nga maghatag og dugang oportunidad sa mga gustong mosulod sa health-related nga trabaho ug serbisyo.

Ako diay si Phillip usa ka Job Order sa usa ka public office sa Cagayan de Oro.

July 8, 2025 ge sugod akong lola sa polymedic alang sa dali nga operasyon para sa iyang kasing—kasing.

Pipila na ka panahon nga sge mi ug balik2 sa hospital tungod sa iyang kahimtang mag duha na ka tuig—pipila na ka hospital mi ga gawas sulod sa cagayan de oro para lang ma atiman namo iyang ga bation, ug krun nag decide na ang mga doctor nga ipa opera ako lola sa pinaka doul hospital. Walang walang gyud mi.

Ang operation cost nag amount ug 500k, pero pwde ma shoulder sa malasakit program, dako namo nga kabalaka ang bayad sa doctor’s fee, ug room fees apil sa iyang medication amounting to 160k Dili gyud kaya sa ako sweldo nga maka shoulder sa maong kantidad. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Uban sa pag pa ubos, mangayo mi ug tabang, sa kinasing kasing. 💔💔
