As rightly said, this is neither a farewell nor a goodbye, but the beginning of a new chapter of service. This honor came unexpectedly and with deep humility. Being recognized with the Military Merit Medal for Heroism reflects not personal glory, but the core values of duty, courage, and selfless service. On September 28, 2024, during a vehicle accident, Sergeant Stan Myer C. Borromeo demonstrated exceptional bravery and presence of mind, actions that embody the true spirit of a soldier. The pinning of the medal by Lieutenant Colonel Roy Ritua Lopez, Commanding Officer of the 8th Air Reserve Center, stands as a testament to honor earned through service beyond the call of duty
