He grabs a small flashlight, gets down onto the floor, and shines it underneath the sofa. The chip is clearly visible underneath, just beyond his fingertips. He stretches toward it. As he reaches farther, the sofa shifts slightly and he slides awkwardly underneath.
**9–12 seconds:**
He becomes awkwardly stuck beneath the sofa, with only his legs and feet sticking out. He grabs a broom and tries to push the chip toward himself. Instead, the broom accidentally pushes the chip much farther away. He freezes in disbelief, then gives an intensely determined look. He crawls farther underneath and grabs the sofa leg as the sofa begins sliding forward across the floor.
**12–14 seconds:**
The man finally emerges from underneath the sofa while accidentally dragging the entire sofa several feet across the room. The single chip shoots out from underneath. He quickly catches it with one hand and proudly holds it up like a priceless trophy.
**14–15 seconds:**
He proudly eats the chip. **CRUNCH.** He looks toward the coffee table.
Reveal: a large untouched bowl containing dozens of identical potato chips is sitting directly beside him.
He slowly looks at the bowl, then looks at the single chip he just fought for.
Brief awkward silence.
