It's easy to question someone's story.
"What if they're lying?"
"What if they don't deserve my help?"

But God's Word reminds us that our calling is to have a compassionate heart guided by wisdom—not a heart hardened by suspicion.

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done."
— Proverbs 19:17

The reward isn't based on whether the person was honest.
The reward is based on whether you obeyed God with a sincere heart.

Jesus consistently showed compassion to the hurting, the hungry, and the forgotten. He didn't wait for perfect people before extending mercy.

James gives us another powerful reminder:

"If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,' but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit?"
— James 2:15–16

God isn't asking us to be naïve. He calls us to be wise, generous, and compassionate. Sometimes that means giving food instead of money, supporting trusted ministries, or meeting practical needs in ways that genuinely help.

Examples from Scripture:
• The Good Samaritan showed mercy to a wounded stranger when others passed by (Luke 10:30–37).
• The early church cared for those in need so that no one among them lacked necessities (Acts 4:34–35).

Today, ask God for a heart that is both wise and compassionate. Your kindness is never wasted when it is offered to the Lord.

Overthinking.
Imagining the worst.
Losing your peace.
Feeling anxious.

Maybe that’s exactly how your heart feels today.

One thought becomes ten.

One worry becomes a hundred.

Before you know it, you’re carrying burdens that haven’t even happened yet.

I’ve been there too.

The hardest part about overthinking isn’t just the thoughts.

It’s how they slowly steal your peace.

They make you question tomorrow.

They make you forget God’s faithfulness.

They make fear sound louder than His promises.

But here’s what I’m learning:

Just because my mind imagines the worst doesn’t mean God has stopped working.

So instead of replaying every “what if”…

I’m choosing a different prayer.

“Lord, I’m overthinking again. Remind me that You’re already working.”

Because while I’m worrying…

God is already making a way.

While I’m trying to figure everything out…

God is already ahead of me.

Choose to trust more than you overthink.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.” — Isaiah 26:3

On this First Friday, the Word of God reminds us of two essential truths: God's mercy is always greater than our failures, and faithfulness to Christ requires courage.

In the first reading, the prophet Hosea calls us to return to the Lord with sincere hearts. God does not reject those who repent. Instead, He promises healing, forgiveness, and new life. No matter how far we have wandered, His love is always waiting for us.

In the Gospel, Jesus prepares His disciples for the challenges of following Him. He tells them that they will face opposition, but they should not be afraid because the Holy Spirit will guide and strengthen them. Being a disciple means remaining faithful, even when it is difficult.

As we celebrate this First Friday, a day devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, let us entrust ourselves to His loving Heart. May we have the humility to return to Him whenever we fall, and the courage to witness to our faith with wisdom, patience, and unwavering trust.

"The Sacred Heart of Jesus is not only a refuge for sinners but also the source of strength for faithful disciples."

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. ❤️

Brokenness is never easy...

No one prays for sleepless nights, unanswered questions, painful part of the journey, or seasons where everything seems to be falling apart.

But sometimes, God does His deepest work in the places where we feel the weakest.

Minsan kasi akala natin kapag broken tayo, tapos na ang plano ng Diyos. Pero paano kung doon pa lang Niya talaga sisimulang buuin ang puso, buhay at landas mo?

Because God has never been afraid of broken pieces.

He restores broken hearts.
He renews weary souls.
He specializes in bringing beauty out of ashes. 🙌🙂

Maybe what broke you wasn't meant to destroy you.
Maybe it was removing your pride.

Teaching you to depend on God again. Leading you back to your first love. Helping you discover that His presence is enough.

Some of the strongest believers didn't become who they are because life was easy. They became stronger because they encountered God in their brokenness.

So don't be ashamed of the season you're in. If you've surrendered your pain to God, trust that He is doing something you cannot yet see.

One day, you'll look back and realize that what felt like the end was actually the place where God began restoring your life.

Sometimes, revival doesn't begin with loud worship or powerful moments.

Sometimes, it begins with a surrendered heart whispering, "Lord, I have nothing left... but I still choose to trust You." 🤍

And that's where true revival starts.

So, don't despise the brokenness you've surrendered to God. Learn to trust the process.

A prayer for a blessed month of 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗬✨

Heavenly Father,
As we begin this new month of July, we come before You with grateful hearts. Thank You for Your faithfulness that carried us through the past months and for the gift of a brand-new beginning.

Lord, as we step into July, we ask for Your guidance. Direct our paths, lead us in every decision, and help us walk according to Your perfect will. When we face uncertainty, remind us that You already know the way. When we are afraid, fill our hearts with courage and peace.

Grant us wisdom to choose what is right, strength to overcome every challenge, and patience to trust Your perfect timing. Open the doors that are meant for us, and close every door that is not part of Your plan. May everything we do this month bring honor and glory to Your name.

Bless our families, our work, our health, and every dream we place in Your hands. Let this month be filled with Your favor, protection, and abundant grace.

We trust You with every day of July, knowing that You are always working for our good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. 🤍🙏

The older you get, the more you pay attention to how people treat you. You begin to notice who genuinely supports you and who doesn't. I've learned to keep my happy moments to myself—and that includes my kids. Believe it or not, some adults are jealous of children. Even people you've known your whole life will tear you down just because you're happy in real life. I thank God I wasn't raised to have a hateful heart. Some people are just miserable. I encourage everyone to pray and talk to God. Talking about the next person won't fix your own issues.

Not everyone needs access to every part of your life. Sometimes, the best way to grow is to stay quiet, pray more, and let God work behind the scenes.

Protect what God has entrusted to you. Guard your heart, cherish the people you love, and stay focused on the purpose He has placed before you.

"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
-Proverbs 4:23 🤍
