After a year of setback, the Grade 10 Blue Eagles have reclaimed their throne at the Quipayo National High School (QNHS) Intramurals 2025, held on August 28 to 29 at QNHS. Fueled by disciplined teamwork, fierce determination, and relentless preparation, the Blue Eagles dominated the overall rankings, heralding the revival of their historic dynasty.

The Eagles made an emphatic comeback, clinching an impressive haul of 9 gold, 9 silver, and 5 bronze medals. This surge decisively outmatched the defending champions, the Gray Panthers, who settled for 7 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze medals.

โ€œWe set out this year with one clear goalโ€”rebuild the legacy that was paused last year,โ€ said Jhon Mark I. Candor, the Year Level President. โ€œOur strength lies not just in talent but in our unity and commitment to push each other to be better every day.โ€

The intramurals kicked off with an electrifying performance in the yell and wellness dance contest, where the Blue Eagles displayed near-full-force participation. Their spirited display not only energized the crowd but also set the tone for the rest of the competition โ€” a vivid testament to the power of team spirit.

Beyond the dance floor, the Eaglesโ€™ golden victories spanned a broad range of disciplines. They secured gold medals in Basketball 3x3 (both boys and girls divisions), Chess Standard (Girls), Samba, Jive, Sepak Takraw, and Girls Volleyball. Each triumph added critical points to their tally, solidifying their ascent to the championship.

Driven by the memory of last yearโ€™s drought, the Grade 10 athletes engaged in rigorous training and meticulous preparation, ensuring every contender was well-conditioned and game-ready. Their commitment to excellence was evident in their near-unbeatable performances across events.

With the unwavering support and expert guidance of their coaches, teachers, and Year Level Chairperson, the Blue Eagles transformed potential into podium finishes. โ€œOur success is a testament to the hard work and dedication of every student-athlete, coach, and staff member,โ€ reflected Crisa-Lou B. Jara, Grade Level Chairperson. โ€œThis victory isnโ€™t just about medals; itโ€™s about reclaiming our pride and setting a standard for generations to come.โ€

The Blue Eaglesโ€™ triumphant return signals not just a win but a rebirth of a winning legacyโ€”an inspiring saga of resilience, teamwork, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Through these competitions, Quipayo NHS students didnโ€™t just competeโ€”they learned, shared, and inspired. Their projects and performances reflected a deeper understanding of the importance of accessible, nutritious food and the urgent need to secure it for all.

Behind every winning name was a supportive teacher, a cheering class, and a vision for a healthier tomorrow. The schoolโ€™s Nutrition Month celebration proves that when education, creativity, and health awareness come together, we create not just winnersโ€”but leaders.

As the month drew to a close, the message was loud and clear: Nutrition is not a privilegeโ€”it is a right. And the students of Quipayo National High School are ready to fight for it, one healthy step at a time.

A New Chapter Begins: QNHS Embraces Leadership of Principal Maricel R. Dolor

QUIPAYO, CAMARINES SUR โ€“ July 15, 2025 โ€“ Quipayo National High School (QNHS) embarked on a new era of leadership , extending a warm and enthusiastic welcome to its new principal, Maโ€™am Maricel Dolor. The official introduction took place during the schoolโ€™s flag ceremony yesterday, a symbolic gathering held on the sprawling QNHS grounds, marking a fresh beginning for the entire school community.

With a gentle smile and a reassuring demeanor, Principal Dolor addressed the assembled students, faculty, and staff. Her words, delivered with evident passion, outlined a compelling vision for QNHS: a collaborative environment where adherence to rules fosters a supportive atmosphere, and, most importantly, students are consistently at the forefront of every decision and initiative.

Principal Dolor also shared that her commitment to the schoolโ€™s well-being began even before her official welcome. She revealed that she had already conducted an extensive tour of all classrooms last Friday, a proactive step to familiarize herself with both teachers and students, demonstrating her hands-on approach to leadership from day one.

The ceremony concluded with a resounding round of cheerful applause, a clear indication of the QNHS community's readiness to embrace and support Principal Dolor's leadership.

The palpable excitement and high hopes among students and staff alike paint a promising picture for the future.

As QNHS embarks on this new journey with Maโ€™am Dolor, there's a collective anticipation for a school where every student feels guided, heard, and inspired to reach their full potential.
