ADHD parenting tips I wish I knew sooner, this one's about echolalia.

My son repeats the same lines after heavy screen time.

I used to think I had to stop it.

Turns out, his brain was just doing something important.

Swipe to see the metaphor that helped me explain it to him, and what to do instead of correcting it.

Raising an ADHD child means constantly unlearning what we thought we knew.

Bilisan mo, late na tayo!" Every single morning. Without fail.

Breakfast pa lang, stressed na kami both.

Tapos yung socks. Lagi na namang yung socks. Mali yung tahi, masikip, hindi komportable. And we had exactly 4 minutes before we needed to leave.

I thought he was being difficult.

Turns out, I was setting him up to fail every single day.

When we pulled him out of traditional school and started homeschooling, I had a chance to rebuild our mornings from scratch.

Now we wake up slow. No rushing, no countdown, no "bilisan mo" energy.

He eats breakfast in peace. Then we go outside and he moves his body first. Walks, jumps, whatever he feels like. Just 10 to 15 minutes of exercise before his online class.

And that simple change? He sits down to learn already regulated.

Less meltdowns. More focus. Calmer mornings for both of us.

The one thing you can try tomorrow, kahit hindi kayo homeschool: give your ADHD child 10 minutes to move his body before any demand. Before homework, before sitting down, before anything that requires focus. Just 10 minutes.

It's not magic. But it helps. 🧡

How about you mommy, ano yung part ng morning routine niyo na laging nagiging away? Share mo naman 👇

ADHD parenting tips na sana nalaman ko noon.

My son wasn't misbehaving.
His brain couldn't stop.

And for years, I didn't know that.

Every time he couldn't sit still, I thought he was choosing not to.

Every time he exploded over something small, I thought he was being dramatic.

Every time he forgot something I just told him, I thought he wasn't listening.

I was so wrong.

When my ADHD parent coach explained executive dysfunction to me, everything shifted.

His brain isn't wired to pause, filter, and respond the way we expect.

It's not defiance. It's dysregulation.

And that one reframe changed everything about how I parent him.

Watch to understand what's really happening inside your ADHD child's brain.

"Bakit may ADHD ang anak ko?"

I asked God that more than once.

The diagnosis didn't change my son.

It changed me.

I thought my job was to fix my son's behavior.

Every meltdown.

Every distraction.

Every big emotion.

But when he was diagnosed with ADHD, I started seeing him differently.

The diagnosis didn't define who he was.

It simply gave a name to the challenges he'd been carrying all along.

From that day on, I couldn't stop learning. 😅

I started reading books, listening to ADHD experts and parent coaches, and trying what I learned at home.

Some things worked.

Some didn't.

But every little thing I learned helped me understand my son a little more.

And that's why I started Wired & Wonderful.

I love digging into ADHD parenting and sharing the simple, practical things that are helping our family and hoping they'll help yours too.

If you're raising an ADHD child, I hope this page reminds you that you're not alone, and that your child is so much more than a diagnosis. 🧡

If this sounds like the kind of encouragement you've been looking for, come join our little corner of the internet.

Follow along.

Now I'd love to meet you.

Yung totoo, mommy?

Nakakapagod magpanggap na okay lang ang lahat

habang nag-e-edit ka ng deliverables,
nag-aasikaso ng bahay,
at nagho-homeschool.

Hi, mommy. I’m Mama Mytch. 🤍

I’m a solo parent, a former VA (HR role), and a homeschooling mama to an amazing 9-year-old boy with ADHD.

Not too long ago, I was stuck in a vicious cycle.

Feeling ko laging naka-alert yung buong katawan ko 24/7.

Tiis. React. Guilt. Repeat. >

For a long time, akala ko may anger issue ako.

Akala ko masamang nanay ako.

But I learned the truth:

Hindi ako masamang nanay.

My nervous system was just completely overloaded. 🥲

I created this page, The Anchored Mom Method, kasi narealize ko na napakaraming Pinay moms ang may buhat-buhat na invisible mental load.

We are taught to sacrifice ourselves completely until we have absolutely nothing left.

But here, we don’t hustle.
We anchor. 🌿

This is a judgment-free, safe space for WFH moms, homeschool and tired mamas.

Dito, hindi mo kailangang magpanggap na strong ka palagi.

You are allowed to take a breath.

Hit FOLLOW if you need a safe space to breathe today.
