WHAT: Conduct of Pugay Bathala of Police Trainees

WHERE:San Vicente Ferrer Parish Calamba City Laguna

HOW: Please be informed that on the above-mentioned DTPO PCMS Plaza together with PCMS Calderon led the conduct of Pugay Bathala for the Police Trainees undergoing the Field Training Program (FTP) at San Vicente Ferrer Parish Calamba City Laguna. The activity was conducted to strengthen the spiritual well-being and moral foundation of the police trainees through prayer and reflection. It provided an opportunity for the trainees to express gratitude, seek God's guidance, and pray for wisdom, protection, and strength as they continue their field training. The observance of Pugay Bathala reinforces the core values of faith, integrity, discipline, humility, and service, which are essential to the development of competent, ethical, and service-oriented police officers.

As part of their community service, the police trainees provided food to a local vendor who was working hard to earn a living. This simple but meaningful act demonstrated their compassion, generosity, and commitment to serving the community while preparing for their future roles in law enforcement. The vendor sincerely appreciated the assistance, which helped ease some of the challenges of the day. The act of giving food not only met an immediate need but also brought hope, encouragement, and a sense of care. It showed that police trainees are not only learning about law enforcement but are also developing the values of empathy, kindness, and public service. ❤️🙏

KINILALA ANG CALAMBA POLICE NG SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD!

Hindi lang isang pagkilala... tatlong resolusyon ang ipinagkaloob ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Calamba bilang pagkilala sa dedikasyon, mahusay na pamumuno, at tapat na paglilingkod ng Calamba Component City Police Station.

✅ Resolution No. 280 – Pagkilala kay PLTCOL DENNIS C DE GUZMAN, Acting Chief of Police, para sa kanyang natatanging pamumuno.

✅ Resolution No. 281 – Pagkilala sa Calamba Component City Police Station para sa pambihirang performance sa paglutas ng 143 kaso at pag-clear ng 33 kaso.

✅ Resolution No. 282 – Pagkilala kina PCPT JASON FELICIANO TAMONDONG, PCPT BENHUR LLAMOSO BALGEMINO, at PLT ROGEL UMALI ALDABE ng Investigation Section para sa kanilang mahalagang ambag sa matagumpay na paglutas ng mga kaso.

Ito ay tagumpay ng bawat miyembro ng Calamba Police na araw-araw ay buong pusong naglilingkod para sa kapayapaan, kaayusan, at kaligtasan ng ating lungsod.

2 ILLEGAL DRUG PUSHERS, TIMBOG SA BUY-BUST OPERATION SA BARANGAY REAL

Muling nagtagumpay ang Calamba Component City Police Station (CCPS) sa pagsasagawa ng anti-illegal drugs operation matapos maaresto ang dalawang hinihinalang sangkot sa bentahan ng ilegal na droga sa isinagawang buy-bust operation sa Purok 2, Barangay Real, Calamba City noong Hulyo 8, 2026.

Sa operasyon na isinagawa sa ilalim ng PDEA Coordination, nakumpiska ang humigit-kumulang 60 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na may tinatayang Standard Drug Price na ₱408,000.00.

Nasamsam din ang isang caliber .38 revolver, tatlong (3) live ammunition, buy-bust money, iba pang salaping pinaniniwalaang mula sa bentahan ng ilegal na droga, at iba pang mahahalagang ebidensya.

Nahaharap ang mga naarestong suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11, Article II ng Republic Act No. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002), habang ang isa sa kanila ay nahaharap din sa kasong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 10591 (Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act) dahil sa pagkakasamsam ng isang hindi lisensyadong baril.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na makiisa sa kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng impormasyon na makatutulong sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan at kaayusan sa lungsod.
