“Di ako palasimba, pero may tiwala ako sa Diyos.”
sabi ng taong ayaw sumunod.

Faith without obedience is just an excuse.

📖 Even demons believe in God. (James 2:19)
May tiwala sila.
May knowledge sila.
Pero wala silang submission.

Trust without obedience is fake faith.
Relationship without commitment is delusion

You can believe and still disobey.
You can trust and still rebel.

Hindi hinahanap ng Diyos ang fan.
Hinahanap Niya ang FOLLOWER.

📖 John 14:15
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”

Hindi sinabi “If you believe Me.”
Kundi IF YOU LOVE ME… OBEY.

🩺 Ayaw mo sa church kasi maraming makasalanan?
Exactly.
That’s why you and me belong there.

📖 Hebrews 10:25
Do not neglect meeting together.
Hindi yan opinion.
Command yan.

It’s “I obey God.”

Faith that doesn’t follow
is faith that doesn’t save.

Stop Skipping the Messy Part!

We live in a world that celebrates the finished product. Social media rewards polished photos, accomplished milestones, and tidy success stories. We hear people’s victories more than their valleys, their breakthroughs more than their breakdowns. Because of this, many of us have learned to hide our struggles or rush through them, hoping to skip the uncomfortable, painful, and unfiltered moments of life. But the truth that life keeps proving is this: the messy part is where you grow.

Growth never happens in perfection. It happens in the chaos of trying, failing, learning, and trying again. The messy part is where your character is shaped, your faith is stretched, your humility deepens, and your resilience strengthens. It is where you discover what you truly believe, what truly matters, and who you truly are.

When you skip the messy part, you skip the very process designed to mature you.
We all want the result, the healed heart, the stable life, the answered prayer, the restored confidence, but not the process that leads to it. But healing requires sitting with pain. Strength requires facing your weakness. Wisdom requires learning from your mistakes. You cannot become whole without first being honest about what is broken.

It is in the mess where God refines you. Think of seeds buried beneath the soil: the darkness, the pressure, and the weight above them are part of the growth. Without the dirt, there is no sprouting; without the breaking, there is no blooming. In the same way, your messy seasons are not punishments, they are preparation.
Sometimes the mess is emotional: heartbreak, insecurity, disappointment, or confusion.

Sometimes it’s spiritual: wrestling with unanswered prayers, silent seasons, or a shaken identity. Other times it’s practical: financial struggles, failed plans, or responsibilities that overwhelm you. Whatever the mess looks like, do not run from it. Sit with it. Move through it. Learn from it. Let it mold you.

The messy part teaches patience because growth takes time.

It teaches courage because growth requires facing what hurts.

It teaches faith because growth reminds you that you are not in control, but God is.

And when you finally reach the other side, stronger, wiser, softer, braver, you will look back and realize that the mess was never meant to break you. It was meant to build you.

So stop skipping the messy part.
Stop rushing your healing.
Stop comparing your process to someone else’s progress.
Stop believing that struggle is a sign of failure.

You are not failing, you are forming.
Let the messy part do its work.
Because the place that feels most uncomfortable right now may one day become the very place where you see how far you’ve come, how deeply God carried you, and how beautifully you grew.

Let people misinterpret you.
Let them create an image they want to believe about you.
Let them say anything they want.
Let them judge you.
Let them condemn you.
Let them grasp a small piece of you, hear only a portion of your story, and see you stumble.
Let them be.

You don't have to prove yourself.
You don't need to please them or beg for their attention.
You don't have to share everything or make your story known to everyone to be understood and accepted.
Even if you did, they wouldn't, especially if their minds are fixed on their beliefs about you.
They are only waiting for your actions to support their claims.

Instead of trying to win people's hearts, focus on building yourself.
Know yourself so deeply that others are afraid to get too close.
Learn from your mistakes, embrace positive changes, and be there for yourself when no one else is.
That's how many have survived.

Remember that it is written,
"But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." - Matthew 5:44

Don’t let the tampo build up, okay? Huwag nating hayaang maipon ‘yung mga tampo, kasi small things can easily turn into big issues. Kapag may nararamdaman kang something off or not okay between you and your person, address it right away — communication is key. Ask them, “What’s wrong?” and show that you’re willing to listen and understand what they’re going through.

And if they deny it or say “wala lang,” don’t just let it pass. Minsan, they just need a little push to open up about what they truly feel. And if you’re the one at fault, don’t hesitate to say sorry. I know it’s not easy to lower your pride, but believe me, it’s worth it. Because when tampo piles up, it becomes a wall that’s really hard to break down.

I’ve been there — I know how it feels when all those unspoken tampo pile up until you just get tired. It’s draining. On the flip side, I also know what it’s like to refuse to say sorry because of pride. That’s something I used to hate about my old self. But now, I’m genuinely thankful, because every day, I can feel that I’m growing and getting better.

Day 99: Zero Arrests

Ninety-nine days. That’s more than three months of watching the same cycle repeat, of press conferences, promises, and posturing.

Ninety-nine days since President Marcos bared the multibillion-peso flood control scandal, and yet, here we stand again, Cebu submerged, lives lost, homes gone, and justice drowned under the same murky waters that have long flooded our nation’s conscience.

Forty-eight lives. These are not just numbers; they are names, faces, laughter, dreams, all washed away by the negligence of those who swore to protect the people. The irony is cruel: billions were meant to control floods, yet those very billions sank into pockets instead of building walls against the storm. Corruption, once again, has proven to be more destructive than any typhoon.

We call them “natural” disasters, but what about the unnatural greed that builds them? Every misused peso is a brick taken out of safety, every signed fake project a shovel of dirt over a coffin. Somewhere, a mother cradles her lifeless child not because God failed to protect them, but because men with power and no conscience decided their comfort mattered more than a community’s survival.

Ninety-nine days. Not one arrest. Not one resignation. Not one ounce of accountability. And yet, the government moves on, business as usual, while people cling to rooftops, both literally and figuratively, begging to be seen, to be heard, to be saved.

When did justice become so numb, so selective, so afraid? Have we as a people grown so accustomed to corruption that we no longer rage, only sigh? The stench of impunity has become the scent of normalcy, and that is the true national tragedy.

Floodwaters will recede, yes. The dead will be buried, the headlines will fade. But the rot beneath, the system that rewards thieves and silences truth, remains. And until someone is brave enough to drain that swamp, storms will keep coming, and each drop of rain will carry with it the echo of our apathy.

This is not just about Cebu. This is about every Filipino who has been betrayed by leaders who swore to serve but instead learned to steal. It is about the worth of life in a land where money talks louder than mourning.

Ninety-nine days have passed, and still, zero arrests. But justice, though delayed, cannot stay buried forever. Like floodwaters, truth will rise. And when it does, may it wash away not the innocent, but the guilty who built their empires on the suffering of their own people.

Until that day, may our silence never be mistaken for acceptance. Because silence, too, can kill, and this nation has bled enough.

One Master, One Body: A Call for Pastors to Walk in Unity and Love

Pansin ko lang sa panahon ngayon, maraming pastor ang tila nakakalimot sa ibig sabihin ng “walking the talk.” We preach about love, humility, and unity, yet when disagreements arise, our actions don’t always reflect the message we bring to the pulpit. Instead of speaking in love and gentleness, some become defensive, harsh, and disrespectful, especially towards fellow pastors.

What’s happening, pastors? Why are we taking sides? Why have we allowed pride to take root among those who are called to shepherd God’s flock?

This division is heartbreaking because it contradicts the very heart of our Master, Jesus Christ. We are not called to build our own kingdoms or defend our personal opinions as if they were the gospel truth. We are called to serve one Master, the Lord Jesus Christ, who Himself modeled humility, love, and unity even in the face of betrayal and rejection. He did not separate Himself from His disciples despite their weaknesses; instead, He washed their feet. If our Master could humble Himself that way, why can’t we humble ourselves before one another?

It is painful to see pastors forgetting that the sheep are watching. The way we treat each other becomes a testimony, whether of Christ’s love or of our human pride. The church suffers when leaders fail to demonstrate the character of Christ. The younger believers lose trust, the flock becomes confused, and the name of Christ is dishonored. We must ask ourselves honestly: Aren’t we responsible enough to face the will of Christ in our leadership, ministry, and life? Do we not trust His plan enough to surrender our own egos? Are we still one body of Christ, or have we allowed our titles, differences, and pride to tear us apart?

Let us also remember this solemn truth, one day, we will all stand before Christ and give an account of how we have led His people. Every word we spoke, every decision we made, and every heart we influenced will be brought to light. Romans 14:12 (NIV) reminds us: “So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.” We cannot escape this moment of accountability. This should humble us and drive us to lead with sincerity, gentleness, and unity, knowing that it is Christ Himself who will evaluate the motives of our hearts.

But this message is not only a rebuke, it is also a call of love and hope. There is still time to return to the heart of ministry. There is still grace available for every leader who humbles himself before God and his fellow ministers. Let us not forget what the Apostle Paul wrote in Ephesians 4:2–3 (NIV):
"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

This verse reminds us that unity does not happen automatically, it requires effort, humility, and love. When we choose to speak with gentleness instead of anger, when we choose understanding over judgment, and when we prioritize Christ’s glory over our own reputation, we become true shepherds of His flock.

Let us, therefore, return to our first calling, to serve, not to be served; to love, not to divide; to reflect Christ, not ourselves. The sheep need shepherds who walk with integrity, who lead with compassion, and who stand together as one under the Lordship of Christ.

May we all remember that we are servants of one Master, members of one body, and followers of one Lord. Let us rebuild bridges, restore respect, and renew our hearts in the presence of the One who called us, for we will one day face Him and give an account of how we have led His flock.

“One Master. One Body. One Mission, to love as Christ loved, for one day, we will stand before Him.”
