Meet the three pillars of the LI β Majorettes, Color Guards, and Drum & Lyre Corps:
π₯ Band/Drum Major or DLC Leader β The Band/Drum Major or DLC Leader is the overall leader of the entire group, serving as the primary conductor and commander of the corps. As the highest leader, the Drum Major directs the corps during drills, parades, and exhibitions, ensuring synchronization in both music and marching formations. This role carries the responsibility of maintaining discipline, order, and proper bearing among all members, while also coordinating with section leaders for harmony in performances. Most importantly, the Drum Major embodies leadership, guiding the corps to uphold its values, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
π Majorette Leader β The Majorette Leader serves as the head of the majorette squad, showcasing grace, style, and coordination through baton twirling and synchronized routines. She is responsible for leading the majorettes during performances and parades, guiding them in creating and polishing routines, and ensuring discipline, poise, and elegance at all times. She also works closely with the Drum Major and Color Guard Leader to achieve a unified presentation while motivating and supporting her fellow majorettes.
π Color Guard Leader β The Color Guard Leader is in charge of leading the flag bearers and prop handlers, bringing artistry, energy, and visual storytelling to every performance. This leader is responsible for organizing and choreographing routines, ensuring proper handling and synchronization of flags and props, and training members in strength, endurance, and coordination. The Color Guard Leader also collaborates with the Drum Major and Majorette Leader to maintain seamless routines while promoting creativity, teamwork, and discipline among the color guard members.
