We’ve been really strict about **no screen time until she turns two**… but let’s be honest, hindi rin talaga maiiwasan 😅
Sa paligid pa lang, exposed na sila.

So instead of stressing too much about it, we focus on what really matters 🤍

We let her go outside—explore, play, run free.
We introduce painting, writing, coloring (kahit super messy 😂)
We read books, sing songs, and dance together.
We do little learning activities.
And most of the time, she just enjoys her own free play in her little space.

And yes… she has a favorite 🫣
*Moana* 😆🌊
She loves singing along to the soundtrack—mga 2–3 songs lang naman.

BUT not everyday ha 😊
Sometimes Daddy just plays the music, and she happily listens.

Balance lang talaga.
Real life first, screens later 🤍

PS: No judgment at all—this is simply what works for us, our values, and our own parenting style 😍

Today’s activity: SCRIBBLING using washable color pens ✏️👶

Scribbling might look messy, but for a toddler, it’s actually a big developmental milestone ✏️👶
Why it’s important ❓
1. Builds motor skills
Holding crayons, color pens and paint brush help strengthen hand muscles and improves coordination—this is the foundation for writing later on.
2. Encourages creativity
Scribbling is a child’s first form of self-expression. There are no rules, just imagination.
3. Supports brain development
It connects thinking and movement. When toddlers scribble, they’re learning cause and effect: “When I move my hand, lines appear.”
4. Early communication
Before they can fully speak or write, scribbles become their way of “telling stories” or expressing feelings.
5. Boosts confidence
When you value their scribbles, they feel proud of what they create—this builds self-esteem.
6. Focus & patience
Even simple scribbling teaches them to sit, explore, and concentrate on an activity.
