Event: Calapan City Chess-Off 2025 – The Chosen Ones
Date: August 24, 2025
Time: 7:00 AM onwards
Venue: Local Government Building, City Hall, Guinobatan, Calapan City
Format: Swiss System (5-7 rounds depends upon the number of participants)
Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment
Participants: Calapan City Chess Players ONLY

Reminders:
1. No onsite registration
2. Sando, short, slippers are not allowed.
3. Bring your own ballpen.

Note:
1. The top two (2) players aged 15 to 25 will be selected to represent Calapan City in the upcoming Linggo ng Kabataan on September 7, 2025.
2. A total of 15 players will qualify as representatives of Calapan City for the upcoming Oriental Mindoro Chess Championship - OMCFI Team Battle this coming November. The team composition is as follows:
- Three (3) Elementary Division players
- 12 years old and below (born in 2013 or later)
- Three (3) High School Division players
- 17 years old and below (born in 2008 or later)
- Two (2) Ladies – Open to all ages
- Two (2) Senior players – 50 years old and above
- Five (5) Regular players – Open to all ages
