RANTING WITH RESPECT, BUT WITH HONESTY.
Miss International Queen Philippines has concluded, but the questions remain. And not just in our minds—but in the hearts of everyone who witnessed the show.
It’s heartbreaking and honestly frustrating to see how Mikay Bautista and Kirk Virtudazo Popiolek — who were undeniably STUNNING—both walked away with major awards: Best in Swimsuit (Mikay) and Best in Long Gown (Kirk). They OWNED the stage. They carried themselves with elegance, confidence, and fire. They also both nailed the Q&A with substance, grace, and conviction. The applause? Loud. The reactions? Overwhelming. The presence of a queen? Unquestionable. And yet… when it was time to announce the winner, their names weren’t called. It’s not about bitterness. It’s about clarity. Because when excellence is so obvious, but still overlooked, it naturally leaves many of us—supporters, fans, and even casual viewers—feeling disappointed and confused. 💔 We were all hoping to see either of these phenomenal queens wave our flag in Thailand for Miss International Queen Pageant. They had everything—beauty, brains, heart, and authenticity. But this time, the queens we know we deserve, we didn’t get.
Still, in true queenly fashion, Mikay and Kirk showed nothing but support and respect—for each other, for the pageant, and for the winner. And THAT is ROYALTY. 👑
We may not agree with the final results, but one thing’s for sure: you don’t need a crown to prove you’re a queen. ✨
To Mikay and Kirk, you made us proud. And in our eyes, you already won. 💖
