Us three bago sunduin si Maki, ang bagong miyembro ng aming pamilya 🐾.

Mga wala pang ligo, no filter — just the genuine time na meron kami bago kami lumuwas ni Eloy para sa kanyang 2nd cycle. Mamimiss talaga namin si Kuyakoy niya — yung walang katapusang bardagulan nilang magkuya.

We are praying na sana this 2nd cycle will be smoother, with less pain for Eloy, so that his recovery and strength-building will be faster. The battle we are facing is so hard, pero we hold on to the truth that nothing is bigger than our God.

The same God who moved mountains, healed the sick, and gave miracles before is the same God we serve today. Yes, we cry. Yes, we struggle. But still, we choose to praise Jesus because we know He is with us in this fight, and He will never leave us.

It took me months before I could openly share about Eloy’s condition, but one thing I can say now is that my faith in Him is stronger than ever. This trial has drawn us closer to God — teaching us to cling tighter, trust deeper, and believe harder in His grace. 🦋

My Brave Eloy 🦋

My son, Jeremiah Ca El Ilagan-Carpenter, has been diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. He is only turning 3 years old this October—so young, yet already fighting a battle no child should ever have to face.

Many have been asking me: “Sino ang nasa ospital?” “Bakit hindi ka na nagduduty?” “Ano nangyari sa anak mo?” At first, I struggled to answer these painful questions. For those who may not know, last April 2025, Eloy underwent a major brain surgery after doctors discovered a 5.7 cm mass. Two weeks later, the biopsy results confirmed what no parent ever wants to hear—medulloblastoma. A second opinion biopsy was done, but the results were the same.

Since then, Eloy has endured countless needles, tears, and hospital stays. Yet every single day, he shows us what true courage looks like. He is the bravest little warrior I know—fighting and surviving with a strength far beyond his years.

But above all, we hold on to our faith. We believe that no sickness is greater than our God—the same God who moves mountains and calms the seas. I trust that He loves Eloy even more than I ever could, and that He will never leave us, even as we walk through this dark valley.

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has been with us in this journey—our family and friends who continue to lift us up, the faithful prayer warriors who cover Eloy with prayers, and my workplace family- Calatagan Medicare Hospital, for their unwavering support. Your love, encouragement, and kindness mean so much to us as we walk through this battle.

Eloy’s treatment continues: chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and constant hospital care at Philippine Children's Medical Center. We share our story not only to spread awareness about medulloblastoma, but also to humbly ask for your prayers, love, and support. Every prayer lifted, every message sent, every act of kindness shown—these give us strength to keep going.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of My Brave Eloy’s journey. Thank you for believing in miracles with us. 💙🦋

With love and faith,
Eloy’s Mom
