It’s ! You cannot discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore. Life is a journey full of possibilities and opportunity!

The Guadalquivir River is the only navigable river in Spain, located in Seville, where Christopher Columbus planned his voyages. The river ends at the Gulf of Cádiz, which is a part of the Ocean, and the specific point where it meets the sea is near the city of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in the province of Cádiz. From the Monastery of Santa Maria de las Cuevas on the Isla de la Cartuja, Columbus planned his trip to find a western route to India. Today, a cruise on the offers a perspective on Seville's history, and a nearby exhibit, the "First Sailing Around the World," details the first circumnavigation that departed from its banks.

It’s ! Feeling a little adventurous and trying something I never had before.. it’s horse meat sashimi called basashi! 🐴🥢🇯🇵 😃
Well, it’s different, i don’t particularly like it or hate it, it is tender with lean texture but surprisingly not gamy and it’s not too different from a beef or tuna.🙃

Is eating horse meat common in your country?

In Japan, raw horse meat is a traditional and nutritious delicacy called Basashi (馬刺し), particularly popular in regions like Kumamoto, where it's nicknamed "cherry blossom meat" (sakura niku) for its pink color. Served thinly sliced, it is typically eaten with condiments like soy sauce, grated ginger, garlic, and wasabi, and is considered a high-protein, low-fat delicacy. While unusual in Western cultures, Basashi has a long history in Japan, particularly in areas that historically raised horses.
