Earlier today, the 2nd ASEAN Business Media Exchange (ABMX) 2026 brought together government leaders, business leaders, investors, and media to discuss how ASEAN cooperation can translate into stronger trade, investment, digital growth, and opportunities for businesses across the region.

Secretary Cristina Roque, moderated by broadcast journalist Karen Davila, discussed the Philippines’ trade and investment priorities, emerging growth sectors, and strategies for attracting investments and strengthening ASEAN ties.
Empowering ASEAN MSMEs via DEFA
Patrick Signo (DCAP), Rowie Zamora (Mynt/GCash), and Wilson Siahaan (Ant International via online), moderated by Chal Lontoc, explored how the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement (DEFA) can help expand cross-border digital trade and create greater opportunities for MSMEs.
