On October 31, 2024, Harvesters’ Missions International School held a meaningful oath-taking ceremony, marking the beginning of service for newly elected student government officers from both the high school and elementary departments, as well as the school’s parent and faculty officers. This special event celebrated the unity of the HMIS community, with leaders across all levels pledging to fulfill their roles with dedication and faith.

Parents, teachers, and students gathered to witness the occasion, which featured messages of encouragement and inspiration. Pastora Hyun Soo Kim blessed all officers with an inspiring message and benediction, encouraging them to serve as instruments of God in their respective roles.

Representing the high school, the Oneness Party List leadersβ€”President Bea Teylan, Vice President Danielle Kyle Inovero, Secretary Thea Mae San Diego, Treasurer Gloria Kim, Auditor James Dalisay, and PRO Garry Reyesβ€”stood alongside the newly elected elementary officers from the Faith in Action party list: President Leigh Anika Santos, Vice President Seojin Chang, Secretary Athena Callie De Leon, Treasurer Kyng Hezekiah Palacio, Auditor Timothy Lauren Santos, and Independent PRO Matteo Andrei Cruz.

Though young, these students committed to using their creative ideas to bring positive change to the school, honoring their promises not only to their platforms but also to their faith and community. The ceremony underscored the shared mission of all officers to lead with purpose and foster a supportive, united school environment inspired by God’s guidance.

HMIS held a wonderful United Nations celebration this year, gathering students from kindergarten, preschool, high school, and senior high school. The day began with a colorful parade, where students showcased a variety of vibrant national costumes. Each costume proudly represented the beauty and uniqueness of different cultures around the world.

The morning was filled with exciting activities, beginning with the much-anticipated video contest. Among almost 70 submissions, the judges selected the top five videos from high school and elementary. The students’ creativity and dedication made it a challenging choice for the judges, as each video highlighted unique aspects of global unity and cultural diversity.

Adding to the festival, each department – from preschool and elementary to high school and senior high school – hosted food booths. Each booth featured dishes from different countries, specifically Hawaii, Vietnam, Japan, and Italy. This showcase of international cuisine was a delightful experience for everyone, giving guests, students and teachers a taste of world flavors.

This UN Day was not just a celebration; it was a special answer to the prayers of our school and church. Our community has long prayed for unity among all nations and tribes. Seeing our students and staff come together to celebrate the 237 nations and 5,000 tribes brought joy and hope to everyone involved.
The entire day was filled with the richness of different cultures, reminding us of the importance of unity in diversity. It was a blessed opportunity to meet, learn, and celebrate together, strengthening the bonds of our HMIS community and honoring the unique heritage each culture brings.

Thank you to everyone who participated, prepared, and prayed for this successful event. It was a day of joy, learning, and blessings shared across cultures!

On October 16, Harvesters Missions International School (HMIS) marked a fresh start for its former Youth Evangelism Institute (YEI), now renamed as the Remnant Fellowship for Intermediate students and RTime short for Remnant Time for high school students. The opening worship of the Remnant Fellowship introduced a new format: a weekly gathering of one hour and fifteen minutes.

The service was inspiring as students took on leadership roles, showing their readiness to grow spiritually and lead with confidence. Grade 6 student Rt. Nique presided over the program, while Teacher Benedic led praise with a group of selected students as singers and body worshippers. Rt. Jodayne led the prayer, and Rt. Martina took charge of the scripture reading. Their participation exemplified the training and development of these young Remnants, preparing them to take on leadership roles as part of their journey toward becoming spiritual summits.

AssistantPastor Lilibeth delivered a brief but impactful message about Genesis 1 emphasizing the power of Creation and man as the image of God, followed by a short, fun game with prizes, bringing joy to the program and a lighthearted close. The new format, with a mix of worship, message, and activities, is designed to change the students’ perception of the gathering, moving away from lengthy messages and forums.

The response from students was overwhelmingly positive. They embraced the interactive and engaging approach, and many expressed excitement about the opportunity to participate in upcoming gatherings. This new beginning for the Remnant Fellowship and RTime provides a hopeful space for students to connect with their faith, build meaningful friendships, and develop a sense of purpose and leadership. It was a memorable opening that promises to bring lasting impact, nurturing a generation of young leaders rooted in faith.

As the new school year of 2024-2025 begins, Harvesters' Missions International School (HMIS) is excited to announce the election of new student leaders through the Student Government Organization (SGO). These leaders will ensure that the school, church, and field are working together in unity, promoting a safe and supportive environment for all students. Their leadership will reflect the mission and vision of both the school and the church, helping guide everyone in faith and action.

Many of the newly elected leaders are also active remnants in the church, showing their commitment to both their spiritual and academic growth. Through their spiritual journeys, they have discovered their potential to lead with faith and wisdom, stepping into these important roles to serve their peers and school community.

The high school student leaders who also attend Harvesters' Missions Church are: Bea Teylan, who was elected as President, James Dalisay as Auditor, and Gloria Kim, one of our Korean remnants, who is serving as Treasurer. From the elementary department, Sophia Chang, another Korean remnant, was elected as Vice-President.

These young leaders are ready to take on their responsibilities with passion and dedication, not only serving their school but also growing in their faith as they fulfill the mission of being leaders and role models for others. We believe that their contributions will help create a stronger connection between the school, church, and the wider community in school as they move forward in their roles.

For the School Year 2024-2025, Harvesters Missions International School (HMIS) has been chosen to participate in the PISA 2025 Mock Test, an international assessment that gauges student competency across key academic subjects. The mock test includes both pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure progress and readiness for the main PISA assessment in March 2025.

On October 11, 21 students were selected by the Department of Education (DEPED) to represent HMIS. The group includes 18 Filipino and 3 Korean students, all 15 years old, from grades 9 and 10. Although the PISA Mock Test generally covers English, Math, Science, and the newly added "Digital World" category, DEPED provided a Science pre-test with 10 questions to assess initial competency. This preliminary test aims to gauge the current understanding of students and identify areas for improvement as the Philippines works to strengthen its performance in PISA assessments.

Participating in this mock test is a valuable experience, providing students with a glimpse into the structure of global assessments. It highlights the skills and knowledge required to excel not only locally but also on an international level. The experience is expected to motivate students to study harder and sharpen their skills in preparation for the PISA 2025, as they gain insight into their strengths and areas needing improvement.

HMIS is proud to contribute to the Philippines' journey in raising educational standards and is committed to supporting its students throughout this experience. As the school community rallies behind them, these young representatives are encouraged to make the most of this opportunity, setting the stage for further progress and achievement in the upcoming international assessment.

On Friday, October 4, 2024, Harvesters Missions International School (HMIS) celebrated Teacher’s Day with a day filled with gratitude and joy, honoring the teachers who shape and inspire students every day. The morning began with a teacher’s devotion, where each teacher received a rose, symbolizing appreciation from the school’s administration. A highlight of the devotion was a surprise video presentation featuring a self-composed song by one of the remnant teachers, dedicated to the educators of HMIS. The song, with lyrics that reflected the heart of ministry, resonated deeply with the teachers and set a meaningful tone for the day.

The celebration continued with a lively program on the school grounds. Students from every level prepared heartfelt performances, expressing their admiration for their teachers. Through dances, and even ballet performance, the students' genuine appreciation was evident, making the event truly memorable.

After the program, teachers and students gathered briefly in their classrooms, where students shared foods and small tokens of appreciation with their teachers. These gatherings offered a quieter moment of connection and reflection, reinforcing the bond between teachers and students.

Teacher’s Day 2024 was a meaningful reminder of the teachers' invaluable role at HMIS, celebrated with warmth, respect, and gratitude. It was a day that left teachers feeling deeply valued by the entire school community, strengthening their commitment to guiding and nurturing the next generation with faith and dedication.

Harvesters' Missions Vision School (HMVS) began its journey last October 2, 2024. After months of planning, praying, and preparation, the pilot class officially launched with six (6) eager young remnants, ages 2 to 4, including Emman, Tiffany, Amara, Elisha E., Elisha C., and Horeb. These little ones represented the first step in fulfilling the school’s mission of nurturing future leaders who will have both a strong intellect and a deep spiritual foundation.

As the pilot class comes to a close this October, we look back with gratitude for how smoothly the class has progressed. By the grace of God, this first phase has been marked by growth, not just for the children but also for the school. The students have shown remarkable curiosity and excitement in their learning journey, laying a strong foundation for their future development.

HMVS has always envisioned raising children like David in the Bibleβ€”individuals who excel both in intellect and in their spirituality. This pilot class has brought that vision to life, with each student showing signs of their unique potential. The school has fostered an environment where these young ones not only gain knowledge but also grow in faith, learning important values that will guide them as they continue to grow.

As we now turn our attention to the Grand Opening of HMVS this November, we carry the lessons and successes of the pilot class with us. HMVS is committed to providing a nurturing and Christ-centered environment where each child is raised as a summitβ€”someone who can stand tall in both wisdom and spirituality. We look forward to welcoming more students and expanding our mission to help children become the future leaders.
The journey is just beginning, and with God's continued guidance, we are confident that HMVS will continue to grow and flourish in the years to come

Harvesters’ Missions Vision School (HMVS) took a significant step in expanding its reach by holding strategic meetings with barangay officials from Longos Calumpit and Longos Malolos. These meetings aimed to build strong partnerships and introduce HMVS’s mission, vision, and purpose to the local community. Leading this initiative were HMVS teachers T. Lydia, T. Sheryl Sua, T. Esther Kim, they went together with one of the HMVS student, the youngest evangelist, Horeb.

During these meetings, the HMVS team met with key community leaders, including Mother Leaders and barangay councilors. They introduced the goals of the school, explaining how HMVS seeks to nurture children from toddlers to preschool age, focusing on a holistic approach that prioritizes both academic and spiritual growth. The school’s unique educational model was well-received, with local leaders expressing their support for the initiative and enthusiasm for the positive impact HMVS could have on young learners in their respective barangays.

What began as a meeting of shared interests soon became an opportunity for evangelism. As T. Lydia, T. Sheryl, and T. Esther discussed the purpose of HMVS, they also took the time to share the gospel, leading to heartfelt conversations about faith. Several individuals in attendance were moved by the message and found themselves drawn to Christ. The outreach not only strengthened the school’s relationship with the local community but also sowed seeds of faith, reflecting the broader mission of HMVS to bring both education and spiritual enlightenment to the next generation.

As HMVS continues to build its presence in the community, this joint effort is set to create a nurturing environment for children and a lasting impact on the community’s spiritual growth. With the support of dedicated teachers and young evangelists, HMVS is not just a school but a beacon of hope and learning.

Panama Missions Trip : A journey toward 5000 tribes
The stream of the word is flowing from Mark's upper room until 5000 tribes now. From September 30 until October 3, Pastor Hyunsoo Kim joined the Panama missions trip together with other missionaries, Pastor Meeya Oh and Pastor Yunhi Kim who are doing their pastoral ministry in the US. RM Sherry Kim also followed along to do the role of Tychicus. Together, they had a blessed meeting with Pastor Gunwon Park, who is doing tribal missions in Panama.

Panama is a country in Latin America at the southern end of Central America, bordering South America. Panama has seven indigenous communities surrounded with rich tropical rainforest and jungles. Pastor Gunwon Park first went to Panama as a diplomat, but after finding God's calling, has become a missionary for the land of Latin America. He has been continuing the tribal missions in the Guna Yala tribe for more than 20 years, and now an independent church and the 'tribal RTS' is established and disciples are raised among the local, who are continuing the ministry. And God has finally raised the RUTC for Latin America in Panama last December.

It has been a special and blessed time to witness how the only Gospel is reaching even to the indigenous communities, the land and people where the Gospel has never been preached even once. This Gospel was healing the scars of the people who were deeply rooted with the shamanism and sorcery. The Life, Religion, Cultural Reformation were taking place through the evangelist who were stepping into the jungles and islands to find God's prepared disciples.

The Philippines is also a homeland of the indigenous peoples. As our church is praying for the 7000 islands of the Philippines and 237 nations, 5000 tribes evangelization, the meeting with pastor Park and the Panama mission trip has become a guidepost leading us to take the further steps toward the 5000. We pray that our lives and our next generation be in this line of the Gospel, evangelism and missions that will never stop but reach all nations.
