𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | 𝐒𝐉𝐀𝐀 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭: 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞‑𝐎𝐟𝐟

On July 31 2025, students from different grade level of St. John the Apostle Academy gathered at Mother Rita Building to conduct Cooking Fest as they celebrated the Nutrition Month for S.Y 2025-2026, with the theme “Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain Karapatan Natin!”

Cooking is one of the essential things in daily lives, many people love to cook and consider it as their comfort zone. Cooking fest is an activity that makes the world students share their talent in cooking. This activity highlights the students' talent on making delicious, healthy and nutritious foods.

Students from different grade level gave their all in the Cooking Fest, some feels nervous while some students just enjoy the competition. This competition allows them to share their love for cooking. Despite being nervous, they still manage to cook their dish and filled it with love.
The advisers of the students are loud and proud to say that their students gave their very best on the competition, although some didn’t won, they still won the heart and the tastebuds of their advisers and classmates.
Students from 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟎, 𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫 and 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐣𝐨 were declared the winner with their dish 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙀𝙜𝙜𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙞𝙭 𝙑𝙚𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙨, while 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟏 students 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐀𝐥𝐨𝐜 and 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬 secured the second spot with their dish 𝘾𝙤𝙧𝙙𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙡𝙚𝙪 and 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 students 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐬 and 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬 claimed the third spot with their dish 𝙂𝙡𝙖𝙯𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙤. They received certificates as a recognition of their hardworks.

The celebration ended with a smile, plastered on everyones face. Although some didn’t won, but still happy to be a part of the Nutrition Month. The event leaves everyone an impact and a lesson to every student.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒑 2 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 2025 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊‑𝑸𝒖𝒊𝒛 𝑩𝒆𝒆

St. John the Apostle Academy's Nutrition Month Quiz Bee was held at the Audio Visual Room at exactly 9:00 to 10:25 in the morning on July 31, 2025 where students from St. John the Apostle Academy participated. Featuring selected students, with three participants from each grade level.

Mrs. Carol Relano serves as the official facilitator for the nutri-quiz bee, ensuring that no cheating could take place at the following event. The quiz bee aimed to enhance the students' learning capacity about nutrition and healthy eating habits with the help of the Home Makers Club Officers. To make the Quiz Bee more exciting, each participant was mixed into six groups randomly. Despite the fiery battle, with the participants' excited screams and Group 6 tailing them, Group 2 won the certification, securing 1st place.

There were three levels: At the easy round, Group Four won with one point for each answer; the Average Round was quite normal for them, making Group Six win with each score valuing three points. The Difficult Round, on the other hand, led to Group Two winning their title with 5 points for each of their answers. The questions were timed, multiple choice, and informative. Group Four's victory was unexpected, knowing they weren't leading in the past rounds, allowing them to make a comeback and show their coordination as a team.

On July 28, 2025 students from different grade level of High School Department of St. John the Apostle Academy, Inc. compete together for the 𝑺𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒂𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 held at the school canteen. The event embraced this year’s theme: “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”.

The contest not only showcased the creative talents of the students but also emphasized the vital message of prioritizing health and proper nutrition as a fundamental right. During the activity, participants focused on their work, crafting slogans that spoke volumes about the advocacy behind the theme. Contest facilitators closely monitored the area, ensuring a peaceful and distraction free environment throughout the duration of the competition. As the contest progressed, the space transformed into a vibrant and inspiring display of ideas conveyed through words.

1ST PLACE: 𝓙𝓾𝓵𝓲𝓮 𝓐𝓷𝓷 𝓛𝓪𝓻𝓰𝓸 (Grade 10 — St. Luke)

2ND PLACE: 𝓚𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓮 𝓐𝓷𝓷𝓮 𝓐𝓵𝓿𝓪𝓻𝓮𝔃 (Grade 12 — St. Augustine)

3RD PLACE: 𝓢𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓱𝓪 𝓡𝓸𝓼 (Grade 8 — Our Lady of Consolation)

Each winner received a certificate of recognition in honor of their outstanding work and dedication. The event left a lasting impression, inspiring students to continue embracing creativity.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 | 𝑨𝒓𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝑵𝒖𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑷𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕!

On July 28, 2025, at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon, St. John the Apostle Academy, Inc. held the 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 to celebrate National Nutrition Month in the Philippines. The event encouraged students to creatively express their insights on nutrition and wellness through art.

The awards were presented on July 31, 2025, at the school quadrangle. Winners of the competition were:

1ST PLACE: 𝓙𝓪𝓫𝓮𝓼 𝓢. 𝓕𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓬𝓪𝓵 (Grade 12 – St. Augustine)

2ND PLACE: 𝓛𝓸𝓷𝓱𝓮𝓵 𝓐. 𝓞𝓰𝓪𝓭 (Grade 8 – Our Lady of Peñafrancia)

3RD PLACE: 𝓡𝓪𝔂𝓭𝓲𝓪𝓷𝓽 𝓜𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓣. 𝓑𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓽𝓮 (Grade 10 – St. Luke)
