One of the best feelings as a mom to a child within the spectrum is when another kid chooses to play with your child. It's not just play ... , it's acceptance, it's connection, and it's joy that fills your heart with a very heavy kind of happiness and endless gratitude.

This video was taken after lunch, when Kaiden and his classmate, Jeth, were sitting together .. studying and playing at the same time. They turned spelling into an educational game: Kaiden confidently took on the role of the “teacher,” while Jeth happily played along as the “student.”

What touched me most wasn't just the learning, but the patience, kindness, and understanding Jeth showed toward Kaiden. For many families like ours, something as simple as another child engaging and playing with your kid isn't simple at all - it's a gift. It means that someone sees your child, accepts them, and values spending time with them. That in itself is already more than enough to bring a mom to tears.

Thank you, Kaiden, for growing up to be such a kind and thoughtful boy. And thank you, Jeth, for choosing to play with him, .. you may not realize it, but your kindness means the whole world to us.

And of course, kudos to Jeth's guardian for raising such a compassionate, patient, and responsible child. In a world where negative behaviors are so easily copied from social media, raising a child who chooses kindness is one of the greatest accomplishments of all.

Here's to more moments of play, patience, and friendship. 💛👊
