SUSPENSION OF CLASSES AT ALL LEVELS (PUBLIC AND PRIVATE) AND WORK IN PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT OFFICES IN VIEW OF TROPICAL CYCLONE "OPONG"

In view of the increasing threat posed by Tropical Cyclone , classes at alllevels (public and private), as well as work in provincial government offices, are hereby suspended effective September 25, 2025, until lifted.

ADVISORY: PRE-EMPTIVE EVACUATION ๐Ÿ“ข

Due to the threat of Tropical Cyclone "Opong", all mayors, barangay captains, and DRRMCs are directed to implement pre-emptive evacuation in barangays that are highly to very highly susceptible to flooding and landslides. Evacuation should be conducted not later than 12:00 nn tomorrow, September 25.

Narito ang tracking ng Bagyong Opong batay sa latest update na pinalabas ng PAGASA,

โ€ข Ang OPONG ay inaasahang magsisimulang gumalaw pakanluran hilagang-kanluran habang papalapit sa Eastern Visayas โ€“ Southern Luzon area.

Sa forecast track, maaaring maglandfall ang OPONG sa Bicol Region pagsapit ng Biyernes (26 September) ng hapon at inaasahang tatawid sa Southern Luzon area mula Biyernes ng hapon hanggang Sabado (27 September) ng umaga.

Maaari itong lumabas sa Philippine Area of โ€‹โ€‹Responsibility pagsapit ng Sabado ng gabi o Linggo (28 Setyembre) ng umaga.

โ€ข Dapat bigyang-diin na ang malakas na pag-ulan, malakas na hangin, at storm surge ay maaari pa ring maranasan sa mga lokalidad sa labas ng landfall point at ang forecast confidence cone. Sumangguni sa "Iba pang mga Panganib na nakakaapekto sa mga Lugar ng Lupa" para sa higit pang mga detalye. Higit pa rito, maaari pa ring lumipat ang track sa loob ng limitasyon ng cone ng kumpiyansa ng forecast.

โ€ข Patuloy na titindi ang OPONG habang nasa ibabaw ng Philippine Sea at maaaring umabot sa kategoryang severe tropical storm bukas (25 September) ng gabi.

Ang karagdagang pagpapaigting, lalo na pagkatapos ng pagdaan sa kalupaan ng Pilipinas, ay hindi isinasantabi.
