Looking at this flight radar map, what hits me isn’t just the empty space over Iran. It’s how crowded the Gulf still is.
Even with tensions rising after the US-Israel strikes and fears of retaliation, planes are still moving through one of the busiest air corridors on Earth. This route connects Europe, Asia and beyond; shutting it down would ripple through travel and trade flows worldwide.
But think about how narrow the margin for safety is / feels.
