Remember how Buchi went absolutely CRAZY when he first saw Appa’s spider book on the PC? 😂🕷️

Well, this time, he finally got to hold the actual book.

And after seeing it, he went straight to Appa and gave him a hug. 🥹

We’re pretty sure that was his way of saying, “Thank you, Appa.” 🤍

And that was it.

Two very melted parents. 🫠🥹

Worth every spider, every page, and all the work that went into making this little book. 🕷️🤍

Buchi is OBSESSED with spiders. 🕷️

So when we learned that following a child’s interests can be a great way to encourage engagement and create more opportunities for learning… we thought, okay, let’s run with this. 😂

Appa started making him a whole book of spiders because we couldn’t find one anywhere. Most of the ones we found included all kinds of bugs, but Buchi wanted SPIDERS. 🕷️

This video was Buchi seeing the very first draft.

And… 😭

The giggling.
The nanggigigil.
The eye-tirik.
The paghampas. 😂

HE. COULD. NOT. CONTAIN. HIS. HAPPINESS.

Honestly, this is the happiest we’ve ever seen him.

And that’s when we realized: maybe we don’t always have to find ways to make toddlers interested in learning.

Sometimes, we just have to find what they’re already deeply interested in… and meet them there. 🤍

Buchi was looking at the page, clearly confused because he knows chicken—so I explained that a female chicken is called a hen. 🐔

I also remembered he'd seen a chicken leave its nest in a video before, with an egg left behind. 🥚

One little ABC book somehow took us from chicken → hen → egg → "baba." 😂🐔🥚

I was like, "Life cycle na rin ba tayo, anak?" 🤣

The best conversations are sometimes the ones you never planned. 🤍

From Monday to Sunday... same little routine. 🧺🤍

Pajamas off → straight to the laundry basket.

By Sunday, his basket was already full, so he casually moved on to Eomma and Appa's. 😂

Then came that little smile at the end like...
"Laba day na naman!" 🤣

Tiny routine, big toddler pride. 🤍

We've been casually exposing him to letters and sounds through ABC books, nursery rhymes, everyday conversations, signages, and even just sounding out letters whenever we come across them.

Nothing super formal. Nothing that happens only during "homeschool."

And I think that's what's so interesting about this journey—all those little exposures eventually start connecting. 🥹🤍

We were just reading together, and suddenly, he was sounding out letters all the way to P.

Eomma was obviously very impressed. 😂

Apparently, walking is not just a milestone… it’s a whole personality. 😂

Buchi said one walking style is simply not enough. May character development pa. 😭

Every time he randomly invents a new one, we’re equally confused and entertained. 😂
