Buchi is currently in his spider era 🕷️😂

He was already holding a different book when I asked him to find the spider. He put it down, searched through his bookshelf, grabbed his Pop-Up Jungle book, flipped through the pages, stopped to say hi to the monkey 🐵 and the snake 🐍, then kept looking until he found the tiny spider.

Sometimes I forget how much these little ones understand until moments like this 🥹📚

And maybe that’s why my heart softened in ways I never expected the moment Buchi came into my life.

People say boys are tougher… but studies actually show baby boys can be more physically vulnerable, especially in their early years. And as a preemie mama, I saw that fragility up close. 🤍

Maybe that’s why loving him feels so sacred too.

Saw Alex Gonzaga pregnancy announcement and realized… we also made a wish in Shifen once. 🥹✨

After years of trying, procedures, tears, prayers, and waiting… we found ourselves in Shifen, Taiwan in December 2023, writing “babies” on our lantern and loudly shouting our wish into the sky. 😂🤍

June 2024 — a positive pregnancy test we never thought we’d finally see, naturally and spontaneously. 💙

January 2025 — our little miracle arrived 2 months early. 👶💙

And now here he is… toddling around, filling our lives with chaos, laughter, and so much love. 🥹

Sometimes life takes longer than we hoped. Sometimes the road feels painful and uncertain. But miracles do happen when we continue to believe, hold on, and keep loving through the waiting. 🤍

Bottom line: kung gusto mabuntis… pumunta raw ng Shifen. Charot. ✌️😂🇹🇼
