โ€ŽScenic and full of familiarity. What seemed regular yesterday unraveled a different world today. Upon ascending the campusโ€™ gate we were welcomed by a spectacular surprise.

โ€ŽOn September 1, 2026, Northern Samar Colleges, Inc. orchestrated the Wandering Minds as part of the Science and Mathโ€™s Month celebration. Where grounds were rather wilder than what youโ€™d imagine a school zone could be. Who knew youโ€™d witness a dinosaur egg hatch in the school premisesโ€” facing towering creatures in the hall.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽBear and wander around the gigantic creatureโ€™s mouth. And let its teeth severe your flesh in ways that you can learn the liveliness of its existence. This mouth served as the first station of the Exhibitionโ€” symbolically, this served as the introductory overview and discussion for Dinosaurs narrating some of the species, their specialization, abilities, and characteristics.

โ€ŽSpeaking of going backwards, the thirdโ€” and last station exhibits mini structural representation and essential features of the evolution of manโ€™s invention. For instance, from the first airplane to its latest that now carries over a hundred people for travel. And other crucial inventions that helped our development in both convenience of us and industrial revolution. Innovative technologies were also presented Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that were humourously introduced through exclusive phrases, such โ€œWamibot, dance!โ€

โ€ŽAdventurous and fun, this experience helped students get enlightened in numerous historical inventions that remain crucial to this day.

Held in Catarman from September 2โ€“5, 2026, the Northern Samar Division School Press Conference (DSPC) drew a total of 2,132 student participants representing all 46 districts under the Schools Division Office. Among the participants were the delegates of Northern Samar Colleges, Inc. (NSCI), who beamed with pride as they walked in the parade across Catarman.

The commencement program got underway right after the parade, followed immediately by the various writing contests. Armed with nothing but a pen and a dream, the delegates and their coaches walked confidently down the corridors.

On the second day, the radio broadcasting competition officially launched. The NSC grounds served as one of the competition venues, carefully prepared to look presentable for the event. The English and Filipino radio broadcasting categories stretched late into the evening, nearly reaching dawn. Despite the grueling hours, the legions of English and Filipino contenders showed no fear and gave it their all.

An amazing journey has come to an end today; may the chips fall where they may. The adventure was truly impeccable, and so were the lessons learned.

Municipal Meet 2026 Gets Underway at SPED Center

Northern Samar Colleges, Inc., full of energy and school spirit, actively participated in the opening of the Municipal Meet.

After a short welcome inauguration at SPED center led by the CAA (Catarman Athletic Association), the participants gathered enthusiastically to begin the event.

A wider range of contingents were all eager to bring the beacon home. Still, NSC will not falters as they tested their skills and honed their zeal.

That was the beat of the bass drum, rolling through the streets of Catarman as banners fluttered, whistles pierced the air, and crowds pressed against the roadside for a glimpse of the parade. The scent of street food mixed with the cheers that rose with every contingent. This was Catarman on its feet, alive and loudโ€” honoring the Vesper Day of its patron saint with a fiesta the whole town had been waiting for.

โ€ŽHello again, my dear Northernians! How is your day? I'm guessing it's full of fun and fellowship, since today marks the Vesper Day of our humble municipality of Catarman. Streets came alive this morning as contingents from schools, barangays, government offices, and local organizations marched shoulder to shoulder in a vibrant civic parade, each one carrying banners, costumes, and hometown pride down the road. It was more than a march, it was a reminder of who we are as a community, coming together to honor our patron saint and celebrate the identity that ties us all as Northernians. By the time the last contingent passed, the streets were still buzzing, and Catarman had already set the tone for a fiesta to remember.

โ€ŽThe last echoes of the bass drum may have faded and the crowds began to disperse to their own lives, but one thing was clear: Catarman's spirit was louder than the drum. The fiesta may wind down as the day goes on, but the pride felt today, in every contingent that marched and every Northernian who lined the streets, will carry us through the celebrations still to come. The long-awaited match of Futsal began late dawn in 20th of August at the Homecourt of SMA.

Entering the pitch, both teams showed off immensible grit as they began with a run of play. SMA snatched the lead in a flash by goaling 1-0 in a span of a minute.

They took their second goal in a flash, doubling their score. As the game continued, Northernians applied heavy pressure in building momentum.

During the crunch time, Angel took the shot and made the first goal for NSC. With this, Northernians went straight for the jugulars. Frenetic and restless as the time elapsed, they moved calculated and with synergy.

As the time counts to end, Northernians player unleashed a strike during the very critical moment. Rules unbent it was beaten by the buzzer. Thus record a 2-1. SMA clinched the victory but NSC pushed them to the absolute brink.

An edged of mark almost paved the way but actions and rules dictates who to rise above.

The wildest cow mans arenโ€™t all in the west, somebodyโ€™s gotta hold it down at the North-erniansโ€™ ground. Witness them saddle their horses and savour the beers at sunset. Take a peek over the cow manโ€™s fence as they dance their untamed dusty boots over the dusky dawn of Texas.

Conquering sand storms and harsh suns, the Northern Samar Colleges, Incorporated belauds the wh***ey shot a chance to gather misbehaving lads a feral field to break from ropesโ€” rodeoing their spirits free on bare vast grounds.

At sunset, dusk was embracedโ€” both the clockโ€™s hands landed straight to the bottom. The night deepened. However, unlike usual, the presence of darkness marked the beginning of commencement.

The Opening Prayer led by the Barkada Para Kay Kristo (BPPK), singing of the Philippine National Anthem with Princess Marionrose Tubigan, followed by Princess Rejean Villacortes for the NSC Hymn, and finally the Supreme Student Government (SSG) President, Dianne Lixe Robiรฑos who expressed beloved greetings as Opening Remarks.

Through the battles of pride, we called on the loudness of each grade level to shout and move their bodies up front, who proved endeavouring enthusiasm on their standing floors. After the igniting cheers, we started to recognize the induction of promising officers from all grade levels: Classroom Officers, General Club Officers, Performance Artโ€™s Guild (PAG), School Publication Editorial Board (PenTip), Supreme School Government (SSG) for Junior Highschool, and Supreme School Government (SSC) for Senior Highschool sweared with honor on their names and pledged propitious outcome during their service.

The North-ernians way couldnโ€™t get enough, with great talents and aptitude, the PAG members and enthused teachers shared their soulโ€™s emmiting light through auspicious performances of dancing and singing, in pursuit of fun, we tasted the testament of their enthusiasm through outbursts of passion.
