WHY WORRY?

How did I become a professional worrier?

1. The Enemy Within Me
The real enemy is my inner me. I have so much doubt, fear, and unbelief that I am only surviving, not living.

It’s not what's happening that is creating anxiety. It’s how I think about it. How can I have peace when my inner me doesn’t have any place for it?

I have to remember that, “Nothing changes until I do.”

2. The World Around Me
I live in an age of anxiety. Marketing is making a ton of money using fear tactics designed to make me anxious.

The fear of loss is more powerful than the promise of gain.

What am I taking in from the outside that is draining my faith? Hmmm... for one, I have to stop watching bad news.

3. The People Around Me
I’m tired of comparing myself to others. A lot of people have online personas that makes their life seem perfect compared to mine.

I will stop looking at what they have and be grateful with what I have.

When someone doesn't like me, IT DOESN'T MATTER! What’s better? I have to move from worrying about what people think of me into realizing they are not thinking of me at all!

The good news? If I’m good at worrying, I’m going to be great at dreaming. It’s the same mind and imagination doing opposite things.

What if I stop worrying and start BELIEVING?
What if I stop worrying and start PLANNING?
What if I stop worrying and start LIVING?

Sounds like a better plan. Am I really worrying because of my situation now or am I creating more waves? This is me talking to myself. Am I talking to you too?
