Matthew 25:24–26 (The Parable of the Talents)
"Then the man who had received one talent came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man... So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’ His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant!’"

The Context: In this parable, a master entrusts his wealth to three servants. Two take risks, invest the money, and double it. The third plays it completely safe out of fear, burying the money to ensure he doesn't lose a single cent. The master harshly condemns the safe choice as laziness, showing that playing it safe out of fear is a misuse of what you've been given.
