As of 2:00 AM today, 22 September 2025, Super Typhoon " " {international name "RAGASA"} is still being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, the low pressure area (LPA 09f) is being monitored OUTSIDE PAR and has a "MEDIUM" potential of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

Youth, students, workers, religious groups, and volunteers from Samar province gathered at the Samar Convention Center on Sunday, September 21, 2025, for a 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 organized by youth leaders and volunteers, with support from the Diocese of Calbayog, to demand government reforms, accountability, and an end to corruption.

The event begins with a Holy Mass and then peacefully proceeds to Catbalogan Seaside City for a program and the signing of a youth covenant against corruption.

“The aim of this gathering mobilization is to oppose a culture of corruption and to demand transparency and accountability—truth and justice, not impunity. This is a non-violent action, a friendly reminder for all of us to live our Catholic faith heroically," said Most Rev. Isabelo C. Abarquez, Bishop of the Diocese of Calbayog, during the Holy Mass.

Meanwhile, Ralph Allyn Babalcon Gabon, 17, president of the Supreme Secondary Learner Government at Wright National High School, voiced opposition to corruption during the rally program at Catbalogan Seaside. He called for honesty, transparency, and accountability from students, workers, teachers, leaders, farmers, and communities, rejecting the normalization of corruption and leaders who see their office as a way to personally benefit.
