The City Mayorโ€™s Office of Catbalogan has directed all city offices and barangay units to participate in the Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) for the third quarter of 2026 on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

In support of the City of Catbaloganโ€™s earthquake preparedness efforts, the students, faculty, and staff of Catbalogan City Community College (CCCC) are encouraged to take part in the drill and observe the safety procedures within their designated areas.

Participants are also encouraged to share and tag photos and videos of their involvement on the pages of City Mayor Dexter Uy, Civil Defense Eastern Visayas, and Civil Defense PH using the hashtags and .

The Catbalogan City Community College (CCCC) community gathered for its Flag Retreat Ceremony on September 4, 2026, at the college grounds.

Students, faculty members, and personnel took part in the ceremony as the Philippine flag was formally lowered, marking the conclusion of the weekโ€™s academic and institutional activities.

Following the flag retreat, a Zumba session was conducted and led by the members of the Culture and Arts, encouraging the college community to participate in a lively physical activity.

The activity provided an opportunity for the CCCC community to end the week through a shared observance of patriotism, participation, and wellness.

The Local Government Unitโ€“City Information and Communication Technology Office (LGU-CICTO) conducted an orientation on the USWAG App for students of Catbalogan City Community College (CCCC) on September 2, 2026 at the CCCC Activity Center, to guide them in registering for and accessing the cityโ€™s digital programs, services, and information.

Among the services available through the application are health and business services, city services, governance and transparency information, news and updates, taxes and obligations, Libreng Sakay access, garbage collection tagging and verification, relief goods distribution, eHealth check-ins, training and community event attendance, and public building access, among others.

Through the orientation, students gained an understanding of how to use the USWAG App and access the services and information provided through the platform.

The digital system also aims to support the cityโ€™s service delivery, planning, emergency response, transparency, and citizen engagement through digital innovation.
