Today, 06 November 2025, the 8th Division Training School (8DTS) conducted the Opening Ceremony of the CAA Refresher Training for the 4th Quarter, Calendar Year 2025, at 0900H, with a total of 150 CAA personnel who will undergo the thirty (30)-day training. The activity aims to refresh and enhance the knowledge and skills of every CAA personnel in performing their mandated duties and responsibilities in maintaining peace and security within their respective areas of assignment. The ceremony was graced by LTC JEFFREY P BALINGAO INF (GSC) PA, Chief, 8th Division CAA Affairs Office (8DCAO), and MAJ CARLO BRANDO C ABIADO INF (PA), Operations Officer and member of the 8th DTS training staff. The event was successfully concluded at 1030H of the same day.

LOOK|| 8th Division CAA Affairs Office led by LTC JEFFREY P BALINGAO GSC (INF) PA together with Delta 43IB successfully conducted CAA Workshop at Headquarters 43IB, Lope de Vega, N Samar Topic discussed were updates on CAA Management policies, DOLE livelihood programs, DILG BBI and practical management of cooperative. This activity bolster the knowledge and capabilities of our CAA on being self-reliant with sustainable livelihood.

8DCAO led by LTC JEFFREY P BALINGAO GSC (INF) PA facilitated the conduct of CAA BMT with 150 Civilian Volunteer at 8th Division Training School, Fatima, Hinabangan, Samar on 18 September 2025. They will undergo a series of lectures and military practical exercises for forty five (45) days. After their graduation, they will be integrated to Delta Companies and will be a bonafide CAFGU Active Auxillary (CAA).

On 30 July 2025, the 8DCAO, headed by LTC JEFFREY P BALINGAO INF (GSC) PA, Chief DCAO, conducted a visit to two Patrol Bases within the area of operation of the 63rd Infantry Battalion, 8ID, PA. These were the Daram and Talalora Patrol Bases. This activity is part of the office’s mission to check the morale and needs of each CAA personnel under its jurisdiction. LTC BALINGAO ensured that mandates in maintaining peace and order in the area are being properly observed. Said activity was successfully conducted....

The 8DCAO, under the leadership of LTC JEFFREY C BALINGAO INF (GSC) PA conducted the deliberation board for the selection of the Best CAA in the unit AO. The activity was attended by COL ARLINO L SENDAYDIEGO MI (GSC) PA, the Chief of Staff along with the Division representatives from Triad Staff and was held at the 8th Stormtroopers Conference Room on 18 July 2025.

The selection of the Best CAA awardee follows strict qualifications. Whoever meets these criteria will be recognized as the Best CAA during the upcoming Division Anniversary on 08 August 2025.

The 8th Division CAA Affairs Office led by LTC JEFFREY P BALINGAO GSC (INF) PA facilitated the conduct of CAA Leaders Workshop at 8ID Clubhouse Camp Lukban, Maulong, Catbalogan, Samar on 16 June 2025. This three (3) day seminar aims to capacitate and empower our CAA Leaders on effective and efficient CAA Administration. It also includes lectures from TESDA, DILG and DOLE to improve their livelihood.
