Walk the Talk!
*Practice what you preach...

1 John 3:16-18

[16]By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

[17]But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

[18]My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth. JOHN 3:16-20
Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. 1 John 3:18

Will you take your worries, fears and concerns, and throw them out of your boat? Cast them out of your life! It requires practice, so start now.⁣

Say this, “I now cast the whole of my care – all my anxieties – all my worries – all my concerns on God my Father. I let them go! They are no longer mine! I lay hold of the peace of God for my mind and heart.”⁣

If the thoughts of worry come back, say, “No! I have cast that on the Lord! I refuse to worry about anything!” Train yourself by practicing this as often as necessary. Quote the Word to the enemy and he will tire of hearing it. And you will be victorious!⁣

Let me give you an example of how to act on the Word to sow the seed.⁣

The Lord might instruct you to give $50 to a particular person. The Word of God concerning giving in Luke 6:38 says, "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over." In order to sow the seed, you must do what this verse says. Luke 6:38 will not work unless you observe the principles of the laws of prosperity. You can’t just know what the Word says about giving; you must give in order to claim this promise.⁣

Give, and it shall be given. The phrase shall be is future tense. The promise is before you. It doesn’t belong to you until you do what God’s Word says.⁣

The instant you give that $50, you can speak that promise into your heart because you have been obedient to God. Instead of saying, “It shall be given unto me,” you can say, “Father, Your Word says, Give, and it shall be given. Then because I have given, it is given unto me—good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over.”⁣

That is present tense: It is given now! Before you obeyed, the return from giving was shall be. After you obeyed by giving, your confession changed to it is given to me.⁣

"Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many." - Hebrews 12:15

14/08/2023

The angels are waiting for you to say things that will loose them! Begin to speak the Word of God. Loose your angels! Proclaim the mountain is removed from your life. Say, “I proclaim, in Jesus’ name, that the mountain is removed! The mountain of financial adversity is removed!” You speak to the problem and tell it what to do.⁣

Are you a giver? Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it shall be given unto you.” If you are a giver, then you can boldly say, “Yes, I’m a giver, so it is given unto me because I am obedient to God’s Word.” You can actually speak in the past tense. As far as God and His Word are concerned, it has already been given to you.⁣

I don’t care what the devil tries to tell you. You can stand your ground, shake your fist in his face, and say:⁣

“No, Satan! In the name of Jesus, God’s Word says when I give, it shall be given unto me. I am a giver. I have been obedient, and I refuse to allow you to rob me of what is mine. I demand my rights. I’m saying what God’s Word says. I say in the name of Jesus that I have abundance. There is no lack. My God meets my need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. I’ll not fail for the Word of God shall never fail. Jesus has been made unto me wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Therefore, I have the mind of Christ. The wisdom of God is formed within me.”⁣

Things may look their darkest, but don’t be moved by the circumstances. Begin to voice God’s Word. Begin to speak it. Keep God’s Word in your mouth.⁣

You have God, His Word, and the angelic host of heaven on your side. When God is for you, who can successfully be your enemy?⁣

Angels are very much alive and well in the earth. They worked in Old Testament times. They work in New Testament times. If you will give voice to God’s Word, they will work for you today! Don’t provoke your angels— release them!⁣

God has promised us peace! We don't have to be troubled or concerned by whatever is going on in our homes, relationships or on the job.

The Bible says in John 14:27 AMPC, "Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]" I refuse to be fearful, Lord, because You have given me peace.

We have been given the power to overcome ANY challenge that may hinder our success. Luke 10:19 AMPC says, "I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you." God's Word is true, so we can stand on this promise!

Put Your Imagination to Work
Kenneth Copeland

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.
2 Corinthians 9:8

If you have a desire to give, yet financial failures keep holding you back, you may be surprised to learn that what you need is not more money. What you need is a spiritual breakthrough. You need to take the Word of God and shatter the images of poverty and lack within you. You need to replace them with a vision of the sufficiency of God. Then more things, including money, will come.

How? By spending time thinking on the prosperity promises He’s provided for you in His Word. By meditating on them. By believing you receive those promises actually being fulfilled in your life.

Begin to see yourself, for example, being a generous giver to people in need. In your mind, see yourself as a giver instead of the one who is always in need. Each time you do, the promise of God will become more real to you and your faith will grow.

“Oh my, Brother Copeland, surely you’re not saying I should use my imagination!”

Yes, that’s precisely what I’m saying. Why do you think God gave it to you? Coupled with the Word of God, your imagination is a tremendous thing. However, without the Word, your imagination will become worldly and bind you instead of feeding your faith.

Sometimes creating such new images of hope are tough–especially when there are old images of doubt blocking the way. If you’ve been broke, for instance, all or most all of your life, it may take a while for you to see yourself prospering in God. But you can do it if you stay in the Word.

Just keep meditating the Word of God. Eventually you’ll be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When that happens, financial failures will never be able to stop you again.

Don’t let the devil use your emotions to take you for a ride—you are part of a group called the Body and Bride of Christ. We are not people who are only moved by the senses. We are people who are moved by our faith. Our eyes are opened. Our faith is strong. There are more with us than with them—because Jesus Christ is with us, backing us, urging us to use His name and to focus on “asking” for “whatsoever” we desire from God. We live from faith to faith and victory to victory.

Are there challenges? Of course. The devil is alive. He’s spiritually dead, but still moving around, complicating things. But his day is coming! Until that day, we still get lots of opportunities to enforce his defeat, overcome circumstances that pop up, and receive what we desire in life. Guess what? No matter what happens, you should think like this: “Challenge by challenge, I win! I don’t care what it looks like. I don’t go by what I see; I go by what I believe—and I believe Jesus!”

God has promised us healing! Take the Word like medicine and confess each of these promises from the Word personalized for you.

1) Philippians 1:6: I am convinced and sure that He who began a good work in me will continue until the day of Jesus Christ, developing and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in me.

2) John 10:10: The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. The Lord came that I may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

3) Isaiah 53:4-5: The Lord has taken my griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses and distresses) and carried my sorrows and pains. He was wounded for my transgression, bruised for my guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needed for my peace and well-being was upon Jesus, and by His stripes I am healed and made whole.

4) Psalm 103:2-5: I gratefully praise the Lord and do not forget all His benefits. He forgives all my iniquities and heals all my diseases. He redeems my life from the pit and corruption. He beautifies, dignifies and crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercy.

5) Proverbs 4:20-22: I attend to God’s Word and submit to His sayings. I will keep them in my sight, and in the centre of my heart. They are life to me, and healing to my whole body.

God has promised us prosperity! God has always promised, “If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).

God wants His people to receive everything He has promised, so knowing what He promised is vital! God’s will is always to prosper His people—He will never forget you nor forsake you. When it seems like there is nothing you can do—speak faith—speak victory.

Let It Flow
Gloria Copeland

Whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
John 4:14

Love. Joy. Peace. Patience. Gentleness. Goodness. Faith. Meekness. Temperance. Powerful forces the Bible calls the fruit of the Spirit. They’re the character traits of God Himself and when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in you, He brought them with Him, so they could become your character traits too.

They’re designed to bubble up inside you, to gush forth like a powerful stream constantly protecting and cleansing you from the inside out.

Have you ever noticed that you can’t put any trash in the mouth of a flowing fountain? When it’s shooting that water up, the force of its own outflow protects it and keeps it clear of any impurities from the outside. Well, the spiritual fountain within you works the same way. When you’re allowing the forces of love and joy and peace and gentleness and all the others to flow out, the devil can’t get any of his junk in.

How do you keep the Spirit flowing? You pump your heart so full of the Word of God that the forces of eternal life start bubbling out. Just a little at first…and then stronger and higher.

Choose to keep those forces streaming out of the fountain of your heart. Refuse to let selfishness and sin stop the flow. You have a fountain filled with unbeatable LIFE forces inside you and it’s ready to come forth. Let it flow!

What "Trust God" And Lean Not To Your Understanding, Means To Me......

People often ask me, "What is Proverbs 3:5-6" means to me. And without any thought, I usually just recite it off the top of my dome like the Pledge of Allegiance, but rarely considering whether or not I am allegiant to that pledge. I think so many times we take familiar Bible verses just as words to be recited -- and not life and truth to be received. We use them when convenient and rehearsed, missing the power behind the words. I’m guilty of this myself and I can’t even count how many times I have recited my “life verse” without contemplating the profoundly solid and practical truths in such a verse.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths” (Proverbs 3: 5-6).

Let's contemplate the words “trust in the Lord.” You see, when we trust in something, we are placing our security in that entity. For example, I absolutely trust my earthly father, which means I have total and complete confidence in his integrity, ability, and good character because I know him and have a relationship with him. I trust in him because I know he will do what's best for me. However, is that the same level of trust I am placing in my Heavenly Father?

If I am being honest, I would admit that it is harder to trust God than it is man, even though man will always let us down. Only God is perfectly trustworthy and faithful. Yet if I do not take time to get to know Him, I will never come to trust Him.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart” means placing our heart at the Lord’s feet. This surrender leaves no room for our own anxiety or worry, but completely entrusts our "being" to God's sovereignty. And as crazy as that may sound or even as scary as it may be, the next part of this verse is necessary for the "trusting" to lead to "His holding."

You see, to "lean not on your own understanding” is to lean completely into the strong arms of God's holding. It means to not rely on ourselves, essentially letting go of what we think we know and letting God take the helm of what He perfectly knows.

“In all your ways acknowledge Him": not some ways or some days, but always with all our ways. This means to admit the existence, reality, and trustworthiness of God. To acknowledge Him as Lord over our world and to give Him full access to sit on the throne of our hearts. There and only there can He begin to govern our walk.

“And He will direct your paths." He will begin to establish our steps and lead us where He needs us.

With all that being said and explained, I don't want to just be able to recite God's Word, I want to be incited by God's Word. I don't want to just quote it verbally, I want my life to quote the Truth of God's Word visually. It begins with trust and ends with Him. Trusting Him. Period.

Can Strangers See Jesus in You?
Kenneth Copeland

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Acts 4:13

How would you like to be so full of the glory of God that it’s unmistakable to those around you? How would you like for people to be able to know just by looking at you that you’d been with Jesus? It’s entirely possible if you are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. The same mighty power that changed you inwardly when you were saved can so revolutionize you outwardly that even strangers on the street will be able to see Jesus in you.

One of my favorite testimonies is the one Jerry Savelle tells of the time he was in a shopping mall with his wife Carolyn. He was sauntering from one store to another, casually passing time until Carolyn finished her shopping.

A woman walked up to Jerry and said, “Will you pray for me?” Since he didn’t know the woman, he was puzzled. “Out of all the people in that mall, how was it that she’d picked him out?” he asked.

She said, “The Lord told me to come to this mall and someone would be here who could pray for me. I came here looking for that person. I noticed a beam of light. It would go into one store, wander around, then go to another store and wander around some more. I followed the light until I found where it was coming from–and it was coming from you!”

What was that light? The glory of God! It was shining from Jerry much like it shone from the face of Moses when he came down from Mount Sinai. And that radiant presence of God brought healing to that woman when Jerry prayed.

Just as the fact that Peter and John had been with Jesus was unmistakable, so was the fact that Jerry Savelle had been with Jesus when that lady walked up to him in the mall.

When you spend time with Jesus, it will be undeniable. His power and His glory will be reflected in you to the world. And His presence upon you will meet needs everywhere you go. Take time to be with Jesus today!

You don’t have to answer your critics, try to prove to people who you are, convince them to like you. You don’t have time to waste worried about people that are not for you. Keep running your race, honoring God, and at some point, He’s going to show out in your life in such a way that your critics can’t deny the favor on you.
