Ryan Bilolo is no stranger to me, the games I’ve covered over the years often featured him leading the charge. I first saw him play during the 2023 season of the SK Alapan 1B Basketball League, where he represented Team Westwood in the seniors division and helped secure the championship. He returned in the 2024 season, once again wearing Westwood’s colors, successfully defending their title.
In 2025, Ryan continued to showcase his dedication, first in the Westwood Basketball League under Team Yellow, then in the 3rd Congressman AJ Cup Inter-Mother Barangay Basketball Tournament as part of Team Alapan 1st. Most recently, he suited up once again for Team Westwood in the seniors division of the 2025 Alapan 1B Basketball League, where they finished as first runner-up.
Ryan’s style of play is both composed and commanding. For me, he is one of Team Westwood’s trusted aces and easily one of Alapan’s most formidable offensive threats. His ability to drive plays, read defenses, and create scoring opportunities reflects his deep understanding of the game. With his solid build, quickness, and sharp instincts, Ryan perfectly balances speed with tactical ex*****on, often outmaneuvering even the toughest defenders.
His consistency and commitment speak volumes, Ryan plays with purpose, carrying the humility of a true athlete. Including him in this season’s roster of idols was an easy choice. Beyond his impressive performances, Ryan continues to inspire younger players in the community with his work ethic and passion for the sport. There’s still so much more to see from him, and no doubt, he’ll keep fans in awe in the leagues ahead.
