🗓 August 28, 9:00–11:30 AM
📍 UP College of Media and Communication Auditorium
Hosted by the UP College of Media and Communication, and co-organized by the Philippines-Palestine Friendship Association (PPFA), Congress of Teachers and Educators for Nationalism and Democracy (CONTEND UP), and the All UP Academic Employees Union.
The ongoing genocide and humanitarian crisis in Palestine, particularly in Gaza and the occupied territories, demand our stronger solidarity. Tens of thousands have been killed, schools and hospitals reduced to rubble, refugee camps bombed, journalists martyred, and entire communities pushed to starvation under siege.
This forum brings together insights and analyses that confront these realities and the complicity of states—including our own government’s trade and arms deals with the apartheid state of Israel, backed by US imperialism. It is a space to strengthen Filipino solidarity with Palestine and amplify calls for justice and freedom. The forum will also highlight ways to strengthen our continued solidarity, including upcoming build-up events leading up to the second anniversary commemoration of the October 7 Al Aqsa Flood resistance.
Peace organizations, human rights and people’s groups, youth, Moro and Indigenous sectors, friends from the media, and artists will be speaking—raising our collective calls to End Complicity, End the Genocide, and Free Palestine.
Save the date and join us! ✊
