One of the unexpected blessings of being retired is having more time and presence for moments like this. ๐Ÿ’–

Naalala ko tuloyโ€ฆ one of my most chaotic moments during my corporate days was always during the rainy season.
The daily commuteโ€”traffic, baha, at basang sapatosโ€”was a constant battle just to get to the office and back home.

Now that Iโ€™m retired and in my golden age, I find myself watching the rain and traffic from my windowโ€ฆ and suddenly, the memories come rushing back.

But what matters isโ€”I finally have time.
Time to be present. To make up for the years I was always busy.
Maghapon kaming nasa labas for some errands with my bunso.
Iโ€™m tiredโ€ฆ but my heart feels satisfied.

This is the season I used to pray for.
Now, in my golden yearsโ€”I get to live it.

Found a nice spot for a quick snack, had some small talks, then headed home to rest.
This is life after corporate.
