When our family members, especially our children, get sick with a cough, fever, allergies, or any other illness, it is natural for us as parents to feel worried and concerned. But in those moments, one of the greatest things we can do is pray to God.
Yes, it can be exhausting, stressful, and heartbreaking. Sometimes we even find ourselves saying, "Lord, I wish I could take my child's pain instead." Along with constant prayers, we do everything we can to help them get better—taking them for checkups, giving them proper care, and doing our best as parents.
There are times when it feels like nothing is improving and everything remains the same. But let us always remember that God does not always solve our problems immediately. Sometimes He works at the very last moment, when we feel there is no more hope left. It is in those moments that we say, "Lord, I trust You. I leave everything in Your hands."
God may test our faith, our sacrifices, and our trust in Him. He sees how much we are willing to do for the people we love. We should also remember to be grateful for those who help us or show sympathy during difficult times, because they may be instruments used by God to bless and support us.
The people around us who are kind to us—our aunts, grandparents, relatives, friends, or even strangers—can be God's way of showing His love and care. ❤️🙏
