Maquinit is one of the very few saltwater hot springs in the world. Located 30-minute tricycle ride away from the town proper of Coron along a rough and curvy road. Best to go there at night after a long hike to the summit of MT. Tapyas, the second tallest peak in Coron.

But on our part we went straight there after our whole day of Island hopping. We had the whole day under the sun and at night, hot spring.👌 Perfect, that was so hot. 😂 We dipped into the water for about 30 minutes straight, we had no idea that we needed to get out of the water every 10 minutes because it will result in dehydration. A staff member called my attention and advised me to get off from the water, maybe because he notices that i was in water for quite long. I was fine but my travel buddies were not feeling well maybe of dehydration.
