A large boulder rolled from a mountain onto Kennon Road in Camp 7 in Baguio City on Saturday, July 19, 2025, crushing a house and a car and killing a dog amid intermittent heavy rains from Severe Tropical Storm Crising.
City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Charles Bryan Carame said that no people were injured because the house and car were unoccupied. The family living in the house had evacuated due to the typhoon. The car was parked nearby.
As of 4 p.m., Kennon Road remained closed due to "continuous rockfall at the entrance of the rockshed," according to the Department of Public Works and Highways Cordillera.
