This National Heroes Day, we honor the Filipinos whose courage, sacrifice, and love for the nation helped shape the Philippines we know today. Their stories remind us that the freedoms we enjoy were built through struggle, service, and the determination to stand for what is right.

As we remember the heroes who came before us, may we also recognize the responsibility we carry in shaping the nation that comes after them.

May their courage continue to inspire us to serve, remember, and move forward.

📸 𝙸𝙳𝙴𝙰 𝙼𝙰𝙶 𝙾𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝚂𝙲𝙴𝙽𝙴: SIKIT-SIKITI LANG! PASAKYA ANG MGA FRESHIES!

Plete, palihug, 20 fully enrolled BS Economics 1st-Year students boarding, and it's officially their first ride! On August 12, 2026, the Department of Economics held its Freshmen Orientation in Room AB 208 at the University of San Carlos, Main Campus, warmly welcoming the newest faces of the department. The freshies were introduced to the department, the faculty, and the organization's activities, putting names to faces and faces to a community.

With freshmen, seniors, and alumni all in the room, the warm interactions truly melted the program's frozen state. BS Economics has officially reopened its doors to new enrollees. The fresh, exciting atmosphere extended well beyond Economics majors alone, as the following organizations graciously introduced the 1st-years to a diverse range of extra-curricular routes they could take: Junior Financial Executives - USC, Rotaract Club of Cebu Fuente - University of San Carlos, Tag Rugby Philippines, Carolinian Environmental Society, USC Pawrolinian, and USC Warrior's Arena.

As this academic year begins, we slowly cross the bridge connecting members, students, and faculty, all riding toward one common goal: cool heads, warm hearts, and helping hands. 🚏

1. Open Google or go to Gmail.
2. Click your Profile icon and select Add another account.

4. Use the default password: LastName + ID Number.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your account setup and create a new password if prompted.
