You can’t chase approval and greatness at the same time.

Pick one.

There’s a difference between being nice and being kind.

Nice is the need to be liked.

Kind is doing what’s right even if it’s unpopular.

My jaw dropped nung narinig kong sinabi nya yun..

Dun ko narealize that my need to look good is sabotaging my chance to be successful.

Kind people speak truth with love.
They set boundaries.
They do what’s right, not what’s popular.

Kindness requires strength.
Niceness requires approval.

And approval has never built anything great.

So stop asking,

“Baka ano nalang sabihin nila?”

Because while you’re busy protecting your image,someone out there is busy building their impact.

Be willing to be misunderstood.

Be willing to be disliked.

Because that’s the tax you pay for becoming who you’re meant to be.

Don’t shrink yourself for people who haven’t grown yet.
