In celebration of the 42nd Founding Anniversary of the Reserve Command, Philippine Army, the CTU-Main ROTC Unit proudly congratulates Sgt Theresa G Resgonia PA (Res), Operations NCO of the 701st RRIBn, 701CDC, 7RCDG, for being recognized as the Best Enlisted Reservist CY 2025.

Given on the 1st day of September 2025, this prestigious award highlights Sgt Theresa G Resgonia PA (Res) exemplary service and dedication to the Reserve Force. She significantly contributed to the updating and record-keeping of Reservist data in their RSOI, ensuring accuracy and operational readiness within the unit. Her efforts strengthen the capacity of the Reserve Force to respond effectively in support of national security.

This recognition, presented during the commemoration of RESCOM's 42 years of service to the nation, stands as a testament to Sgt Resgonia PA (Res) professionalism, discipline, and patriotism. On 29 August 2025, the CTU-Main Campus ROTC Unit rendered dedicated service during the Acquaintance Party of the Cebu Technological University – Naga Extension Campus, held at the Enan Chiong Activity Center (ECAC).

To ensure the safety and orderly flow of the event, ROTC officers were assigned to assist in crowd control. In addition, the Unit performed the ceremonial Entrance of Colors, adding solemnity and honor to the occasion.

The Acquaintance Party served as a celebration of unity and camaraderie, providing students with an opportunity to build lasting friendships and strengthen school spirit. The ROTC Unit’s involvement reflected their continuous support for student-led initiatives beyond military training.

With professionalism and discipline, the CTU-Main Campus ROTC Unit once again demonstrated its commitment to service, leadership, and tradition, upholding values that inspire and strengthen the university community it proudly serves.

On 23 August 2025, the Cebu Technological University-Main ROTC Unit marked a meaningful moment of growth and responsibility through the Donning of Ranks Ceremony held at the CebuTech Gymnatorium with the theme: β€œNew Ranks, Renewed Commitment: Upholding the Honor and Legacy of Leadership.”

The ceremony began with warm welcome remarks from Dr. Gregorio P. Pajaron Jr, Campus Director. The Donning of Ranks symbolizes not only the promotion of officers but also their readiness to accept greater responsibilities and challenges. It stands as a reminder that leadership is more than a position; it is a duty to serve with discipline and integrity.

To officially confer the ranks, LTC JENNIFER T CLAROS FS (GSC) PA, Commandant, did the honor of placing the ranks on each deserving officer. The officers then took their Pledge of Office, led by Sgt Marcial T Pepito PA (Res), affirming their loyalty and commitment to the unit. A keynote message was also delivered by CTU-Main Campus ROTC Unit Commandant LTC JENNIFER T CLAROS FS (GSC) PA, inspiring the officers to lead with dedication and excellence.

The success of the ceremony was also made possible through the efforts and support of the Admin NCO of the CTU-Main Campus ROTC Unit, Tsg Arthur B Arquiola Jr PA, and Prof. Belenda P. Babiera, CTU-Main NSTP Chairperson, whose dedication and guidance continue to strengthen the unit’s mission and activities.

As they don their new ranks, the officers are not simply gaining a title but taking on a deeper responsibility to lead with integrity, skill, and dedication. This moment marks the beginning of greater duties and the call to uphold the values of the CTU-Main Campus ROTC Unit.
