Bro. Jose Rizal strongly believed that education is crucial for national progress and individual empowerment. He viewed education as the "soil" and liberty as the "sun" that nurture mankind, emphasizing that without them, no meaningful reform or progress is possible. He saw education as the key to unlocking a nation's potential and overcoming oppression.
Maktan Lodge No. 30, under the leadership of our Worshipful Master Lyndon Ancajas supports education thru our “Balik Eskwela” program at Babag Integrated School.

VW Sirs, WB Sirs and brethren, this coming 28 June 2025 will be our lodge's Balik Eskwela to be held at Babag Integrated School, Brgy Babag 1, Cebu City. Assembly time will be 7:30 AM at IT Park (in front of Sachi). We shall distribute school supplies and printer to the school, as well as lugaw and ice cream.
