Discovered the vibrant flavors of rijsttafel
A Dutch-Indonesian culinary tradition featuring dozens of small, colorful dishes from satay to spicy sambals, all served with fragrant rice. It's not just a meal, it's an edible journey
Blauw serves a lavish rijsttafel with dishes from across the Indonesian archipelago, including vegan options. They also have interesting pandan flavoured cocktails and I couldn't pass up on trying a dessert.
This made me reminisce of my month long backpacking trip through the Kalimantan region.
