The Moalboal Convention Center is nearing completion, with final finishing touches now underway. Once opened, it is expected to become a prime venue for meetings, parties and conventions in the southwestern part of Cebu.

NEW ACCESS ROAD. The Gatewalk/Ayala Road is now open for vehicles who are travelling to and from M. Logarta Street and L. Jaena Street.

All vehicles coming from Gatewalk/Ayala Road can only turn right to L. Jaena Street. On the other end, vehicles must also turn right when going to M. Logarta Street fron Gatewalk/Ayala Road.

Motorists who will pass the new access road are advised to observe the no left turn traffic signages put up on the intersections.

PORT UPDATE | New Cebu International Container Port (NCICP) – Status as of December 4, 2025

Here is the latest progress on the upcoming New Cebu International Port in Tayud, Consolacion, Cebu.

The project—awarded to HJ Shipbuilding & Construction Co., Ltd.—covers the reclamation of 25 hectares and will feature:

500-meter berth length

-12 meter water depth

Five quay cranes

300-meter offshore bridge

1.3-kilometer inland road

Vessel capacity of 1.3 kilometers

Once completed, the NCICP will accommodate a container yard capacity of 14,400 TEUs and an annual cargo handling capacity of 375,900 TEUs.
