In the midst of all the MWC coverage, Apple started its wave of announcements with the iPhone 17e!

Here are some of the highlights:
- A19 chip
- STARTS at 256GB of storage
- C1x modem
- Ceramic Shield 2
- MagSafe wireless charging (FINALLY)
- Comes in a new Soft Pink color alongside Black and White

While it's priced at $599 for 256GB and $799 for 512GB, it is priced in the official Apple Online Store at P44,990 in the Philippines for 256GB and P59,990 for the 512GB.

👀 A Post-Mortem on that DROP TEST

When I first the damage on the , I thought it looked more brutal than the previous ones.
Then I remembered:
- I dropped it on a moving escalator
- Said escalator was metal and was probably harder than the phone’s frame
- I did the drop test after I dropped it 5 times on tiled flooring

Yes, people doing these drop tests SHOULD ABSOLUTELY put disclaimers that doing this voids the warranty. But seeing this phone still work properly after all that beating makes me grateful that HONOR made that investment on making phones more durable.

Which is why it’s more impressive that even with its upgrades, HONOR Philippines somehow priced this phone at P18,999 SRP (P17,999 preorder price)! Considering our neighbors priced this phone higher (up to P25,999 even), it speaks to the dedication of providing more durable phones to more people.
