Yesterday was a long but fulfilling day. 🧡💛
In just 24 hours, we were able to pull together ₱15,700 in donations — and use it right away to buy and deliver relief goods for families in northern Cebu.
Here’s how your donations were spent:
• 40 packs of 5kg rice – ₱9,080
• Groceries (canned goods, infants’ and toddlers’ milk, Cerelac, biscuits, baby diapers, wet wipes, and alcohol) – ₱5,556.40
• Paracetamol – ₱1,044
Total: ₱15,680.40
With the funds pooled together — including donations coursed through Ney’s mom, cousins, and their kind-hearted friends — we were able to prepare and distribute 100 relief packs, along with 20 boxes of drinking water. 🙏✨
Repacking took about two hours with everyone helping out and working together. 💪
We left Cebu City at 10AM and took the Naga-Uling road to Toledo-San Remigio, which we followed as it was the safest and most convenient route for us. We arrived in Bogo around 4PM to distribute a few goods, then continued to Medellin where we reached one of the far barangays and St. Paul School of Medellin. After a quick dinner, we headed back home and got to the city around 1AM — tired but deeply grateful.
To everyone who donated, shared our post, or sent kind words — thank you. Your generosity made all of this possible, and it meant so much to see how people came together to help in such a short time. 🧡💛
We’re now planning a second wave of donations in the coming weeks, and donations are still very much appreciated for this next round of relief. 🙏✨
