OUTDOORS7 Hub Launched
OUTDOORS7 SUMMIT 2026 opens at The Terraces, Ayala Center-Cebu today - three days of story-telling, inspiration and innovation in outdoor recreation, sustainable tourism and community engagement.
This year’s edition of the OUTDOORS7 SUMMIT is particularly significant as it launches the OUTDOORS7 HUB, a permanent gathering space for stakeholders, hobbyists, adventurers and explorers, at R.O.X. Cebu at the Ayala Center Cebu.
The exhibit floor features tour product offerings, product updates and opportunities for networking. Exhibit visitors may avail of exclusive discounts during the event. The event peaks on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with the Take Me Outdoors Challenge.
The newly unveiled OUTDOORS7 HUB is an interactive centerpiece where outdoors enthusiasts and partners connect, collaborate and participate in opportunities for the development of adventure tourism in the region. The Hub is also an access point where enthusiasts may sign up for trekking, paddling, canyoneering and other exciting adventures.
The OUTDOORS7 Summit is presented by the Department of Tourism – Central Visayas (DOT7) in partnership with R.O.X. Philippines and Ayala Center Cebu, with the support of Quest Hotel, Tuburan Coffee, Budots Media, government agency partners, outdoor sports practitioners, and event organizers.
DOT7 OIC-Regional Director Gelena Asis-Dimpas, Cebu City Councilor Nyza Archival, and Charles Lim of the Sports Turismo Alliance led the opening ceremonies. Also in attendance were R.O.X. Philippines’ Cyrel Cañedo, Quest Hotel’s Mia Singson-Leon and Annalyn Entrada of Tuburan Coffee.
Dimpas shared in her message at the opening event that outdoor tourism has evolved into an important driver of economic growth and catalyst of environmental stewardship. Outdoor adventure tourism, she said, effectively meets the demands of priority markets. It also enables youth engagement and growth in the countryside.
Launched in 2018, OUTDOORS7 began as a venue for the adventure community to exchange stories and best practices. It has evolved into a program for the promotion of safety standards, sustainability, and responsible outdoor recreation while boosting homegrown brands and adventure offerings.
