NJR’s musical selections are his own therapy, never afraid to dig too deep. Having grown up with his uncle's electric fusion of funk music, electronica and synth-infused 80s music. Having a love for both styles of music infused into his own aesthetic, he ended up with a varied sonic palette. His sets as of today are an amalgamation of all the things he loves about this music. This

includes gorgeous synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding bass line, and catchy vocal hooks over a foot-shuffling beat. Being very active in his local community, NJR is well-accustomed to the ups and downs of a small-town music scene. In addition to appearing at nightclubs, music festivals and local venues, he is passionate about music beyond just mixing tunes. His experience as a DJ has given him ample opportunity to express himself musically. On top of that, he also creates weekly promo mixes on Soundcloud and Mixcloud - sites dedicated to underground and mainstream music fans. NJR's musical tastes are all about mood and groove, the kind of music that gets you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.
