The NorthLine family finally grew a little bigger! New recruits from different programs gathered in a warm and exciting atmosphere. They took the time to introduce themselves, share why they joined, and talk about the positions they are interested in taking within the organization.

It was truly a heartwarming moment as we welcomed new faces and fresh voices who will be part of the NorthLine journey.

CTU San Remigio Extension celebrates Math-Sci 2026 this September 10, 2026, a celebration that highlights the importance of Mathematics, Science, and Technology in understanding the world, solving problems, and creating ideas that help people and communities.

But remember, dili ni pa brightay! 👀 Bahalag dili kaayo ka kamao sa Math or Science, basta maningkamot, mosulay, ug willing makat on. Every question, mistake, and effort is part of learning.

Math helps us think, Science helps us discover, and Technology helps us turn ideas into solutions. These fields are not only found inside the classroom. They are part of our everyday lives and help make our world better.

So, Technologist, ayaw kahadlok sa numbers, experiments, or new ideas. This celebration is for everyone who is ready to learn, explore, and grow.

𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱-𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗧𝗨-𝗦𝗥𝗘

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Remigio donated a PS-09A Upper Scanner/Hand-held Metal Detector to Cebu Technological University–San Remigio Extension (CTU-SRE) on September 1, 2026, to help strengthen security and safety within the campus.

The equipment will be used to detect metal objects and support the implementation of campus safety measures, helping provide a safer environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

The donation reflects the LGU San Remigio’s support for the safety and security of the CTU-SRE community.

“𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮’𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗼.”

The desire to learn is a powerful force that helps students face new lessons and challenges. At Cebu Technological University–San Remigio Extension, learning continues even when classrooms are limited. Students attend their classes in different spaces around the campus from the school grounds and tents to the gymnasium and even the Panagtagbo 2026 Bahay Kubo.

“𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮’𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗼.” This simple line reflects the determination of students to continue learning despite the lack of regular classrooms. Whether sitting inside the gymnasium, under a tent, in the school grounds, or inside the Bahay Kubo, students remain focused on their lessons and their goals.

Despite the different learning environments, students continue to listen, participate, take notes, and learn from their teachers. Learning is not limited to four walls, desks, or comfortable classrooms. It is built through the willingness of students to listen, understand, ask questions, and keep moving forward. Every space can become a classroom when there is a teacher willing to teach and students willing to learn.

What matters most is the desire to learn, the dedication to attend, and the hope for a better future. 𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮’𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺, 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗮-𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗼, because where there is a will to learn, every place can become a classroom.

Following the First-Year Orientations of BSHM and BIT-ET, it was time for the College of Education (COEd) and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (BSIE) to have their turn on the morning of August 25, 2026, at the CTU-SREA Gymnasium.

The orientation provided first-year students and their parents with important information about the college system, academic guidelines, and what to expect as they begin their new journey.

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) conducted its 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧-𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 on the afternoon of August 24, 2026, at the CTU-SRE Gymnasium.

The orientation welcomed first-year students and their parents and introduced them to the school system. It provided important information about the rules, policies, academic process, and other things they need to know as they begin their college journey.

The activity also helped students and parents understand how the system works at CTU and prepare for the new academic year.

The Bachelor of Industrial Technology major in Electrical Technology (BIT-ET) conducted its General Orientation for freshmen, returnees, shiftees, and transferees on August 24, 2026, with parents and guardians in attendance.

Led by the faculty and staff, the orientation introduced students, parents, and guardians to the BIT-ET program, school guidelines, and expectations as they prepare for Academic Year 2026–2027.
