𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 | 𝗪𝗜𝗞𝗔 𝗔𝗧 𝗞𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗔 𝗡𝗚 𝗠𝗚𝗔 𝗙𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗣𝗜𝗡𝗢✨

Hindi siya g**o ng Filipino. Hindi rin siya makata o manunulat.

Isa lamang siyang matandang nagtitinda ng isda sa palengke, tangan ang isang banyerang puno ng huling biyaya ng dagat at isang wikang matagal nang naging bahagi ng kaniyang araw-araw na buhay.

Bago pa man sumikat ang araw, naroon na siya. Nakikipagtawaran, bumabati ng "Maayong buntag," at nagpapasalamat sa bawat kostumer na dumaraan.

Sa unang tingin, karaniwang eksena lamang ito. Ngunit sa pagitan ng bawat tawad, biro, at kamustahan, may kulturang tahimik na naipapasa.

Hindi man ito nakasulat sa aklat, ang palengke ay isa ring silid-aralan. Dito natututuhan ang paggalang sa nakatatanda, ang pagiging tapat sa hanapbuhay, at ang pakikipagkapuwa na hindi kailangang ipaliwanag sa salita.

Kapag sinabi niyang, "Sige lang, suki man ka," hindi lang siya nagbebenta ng isda. Nag-aabot siya ng tiwala—isang kaugaliang matagal nang kinagisnan ng mga Pilipino.

May mga salitang hindi kayang tumbasan ng anumang salin. Ang malasakit sa suki, ang hiya kapag hindi makapagbigay ng tamang sukli, at ang bayanihan kapag may kapwa tinderong nangangailangan ng tulong.

Ito ang mga salitang hindi lamang binibigkas. Isinasabuhay sila.

Sa panahon ngayon, mas mabilis nang marinig ang iba't ibang banyagang wika. Hindi iyon masama, sapagkat bahagi iyon ng pag-unlad at pakikipagsabayan sa mundo.

Ngunit habang natututo tayong magsalita ng iba, sana'y hindi natin makalimutang pakinggan ang mga tinig na matagal nang bumubuo sa ating pagkatao—ang tinig ng magsasaka sa bukid, ng mangingisda sa dalampasigan, ng tindera sa palengke, at ng bawat Pilipinong marangal na namumuhay gamit ang sariling wika.

Sila ang mga taong bihirang mapunta sa mga aklat. Ngunit sila ang araw-araw na nagsasabuhay ng kulturang Pilipino.

Hindi man nila kabisado ang mga tuntunin ng balarila, kabisado nila ang wikang may paggalang. Hindi man sila nagsusulat ng tula, sila mismo ang nagiging tula ng ating kultura.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika, hindi lamang natin ipinagdiriwang ang Filipino bilang asignatura o ang mga salitang nakalimbag sa diksyunaryo.

Ipinagdiriwang natin ang mga taong tulad niya—mga karaniwang Pilipinong sa bawat tawag na "Inday," "D**g," "Suki," o "Salamat," ay patuloy na binubuhay ang wikang hindi lamang nagsasalita, kundi nagkukuwento kung sino tayo bilang isang bayan.

As preparations begin for the Opening of Classes and Buwan ng Wika 2026, the Supreme Student Government (SSG), together with the governors and vice governors, conducted a Coordination Meeting on July 27, 2026, to discuss plans, coordinate responsibilities, and organize the activities ahead.

✨ 𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 | ✨ 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐍𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃

A person who has a good heart still serves as a light in this dark, unrecognizable world.

Sometimes, life is uncertain, and keeping our valuables safe is our responsibility. But in situations where we are busy and our minds are overloaded, taking care of our belongings is the last thing on our minds.

Losing something that is very important to us without even knowing how it happened can cause panic and worry because of its privacy and sentimental value. The thoughts of what people might say, like "Kadanghag pud ana niya, wa man nag-amping sa gamit," can add more tension to the indescribable feelings we experience in moments like that.

In our generation, devices like mobile phones have already become a part of our lives. If those things are lost, it can be truly devastating for us. They may not be the most expensive items, but their value is the real treasure that we cannot afford to lose or forget.

Thinking about how cruel this world can be, we sometimes lose hope. Sa kalisud sa panahon, mauli pa ba kaha ang gamit nga nawala? These days, every news report seems to include crimes. Whether they are small or big cases, they cannot guarantee that we are living in a safe place.

But God never disappoints. He still guides us and never forgets us. For the things that are lost, He somehow makes a way for them to be returned by sending people who have good hearts and who choose to live honestly and fairly.

Diba if naa ta sa situation nga naglisud ta, those who help us without a hidden agenda or expecting something in return are the ones who are truly concerned about us.

Those people may not be our friends and may only be strangers, but they have the kindest hearts we can find. The return of the phone came as an unexpected surprise, as it was personally handed back by Kuya Driver. Kuya Driver is one of the lights shining in this dark world. He is not just a driver, he is a model of integrity and someone who contributes to making our community a better place.

Some might say, "Sus, cellphone ra man na," "Danghag man," or "Mura man og dili mabuhi kung mawala."

Always remember and believe that God exists and helps us in the most uncertain ways.

Behind every future teacher stands a family that believes in the power of education.

Cebu Technological University San Remigio Extension conducted the Parents' Meeting: Orientation and Consultation for Field Study Students on July 21, 2026, at the CTU San Remigio Extension Covered Court to prepare the parents and guardians of COEd Programs students for the Field Study Program through discussions on its overview, nature and purpose, requirements and documentation, placement and deployment procedures, policies and guidelines, safety and student welfare, financial considerations, and the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders.

With parents and the university working hand in hand, every step toward the classroom becomes a step toward shaping the nation's future.

Newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Government (SSG), the academic programs - SAPIENT, NOBLES, CRAFTERS, SANRIES, HOSPICA, and TECHNOVATORS - and the recognized student organizations - NorthLine, FSTLP, LIKHA, MathSci, SoundFunity, and TechnoGroovers - officially assumed their respective positions during the 2026 Turnover Ceremony held on July 20 at Cebu Technological University (CTU) Daanbantayan Campus–San Remigio Extension, marking the formal transition of student leadership for Academic Year 2026–2027.

The ceremony opened with welcome remarks from Prof. Sherwin P. Sanoria, SSG Adviser, followed by the Message of Purpose from Dr. Ricky T. Derecho, Dean of Student Affairs and Services. Dr. Derecho reminded the incoming officers that leadership is rooted in service, collaboration, and responsibility. In his Message of Support, Mr. Jhun Christian Asingua encouraged the new leaders to make a difference through their actions, saying, "True leadership is measured not by power, but by the positive impact you make in everyone's life."

One of the highlights of the program was the turnover of the gavel, SSG logo, CTU logo, and accomplishment report from outgoing SSG President Hon. Nickriel S. Allones to incoming SSG President Hon. Junmar P. Terana. Accomplishment reports and financial statements of the different academic programs and student organizations were also turned over before the newly elected officers took their Pledge of Commitment.

The program concluded with the Awarding and Recognition Ceremony for outgoing officers and guests, followed by the closing remarks of Incoming SSG Vice President Hon. Harvey B. Aque, officially opening a new chapter of student leadership under the theme "Live Your Purpose."
