Educational Assistance for the First District of Mabate

SA MGA INTERESADO:

After successful registration, proceed to the office of the 1st District at the Provincial Capitol. Bring the following:
1. National ID
2. One (1) photocopy of the National ID
3. Black ballpen

Reminder: Only the National ID will be considered as a valid ID.

▪️ No requirements needed yet: Applicants will still be screened and validated by the DSWD.

▪️ Being registered online does not guarantee entitlement: The DSWD will still conduct a validation process to determine whether the applicant is entitled to educational assistance.

▪️No need to register for those who went to the 1D office as walk-in applicants.

▪️Payout will be in SEPTEMBER 2025 just in time for S.Y. 2025-2026 First Semester Enrollment.

▪️Students residing in the 2nd and 3rd Districts of Masbate are welcome to register, but priority will be given to applicants from the 1st District.

PAGGAWA NG MGA SILID ARALAN DI-EKSLUSIBO SA DPWH!

Ito ang iminumungkahi ni Education Secretary Sonny Angara na maglagay ng espesyal na probisyon sa panukalang 2026 General Appropriations Act upang alisin sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang eksklusibong kapangyarihan sa pagtatayo ng mga silid-aralan. Layunin nito na mabawasan nang malaki ang kasalukuyang backlog na tinatayang aabot sa 165,000 classrooms sa buong bansa.

Ayon kay Angara, dapat pahintulutan ang mga lokal na pamahalaan at maging ang ilang civil society organizations na makibahagi sa pagpapatayo ng mga paaralan. “Tawagin natin itong school building flexibility provision upang mas maraming sektor ang makalahok sa programa,” aniya.

Nag-ugat ang sunod sunod na mga panukalang tanggalan ng ilang eksklusibong kapangyarihan ang DPWH matapos kuwestiyunin ni Pangulong Marcos ang paggamit ng bilyon-bilyong pisong pondo na inilaan para sa mga proyekto sa flood control.
