| Bantay Bukid at Tubig

For years, Bantay Bukid at Tubig has united 174 Indigenous volunteers from the Bagobo Tagabawa, Bagobo Klata, and Obu Manuvu tribes to protect Davao’s vital watersheds—Sibulan, Talomo-Lipadas, Panigan-Tamugan, and Davao.

Through monthly patrols, they defend their ancestral domains, safeguard water sources, and protect the nesting sites of the majestic Philippine Eagle. The foundation regards this as a testament to how conservation thrives when rooted in culture and community.
