Whether, weather or Which is Witch?
It’s important to stop for a moment and really analyze your desires.
Ask yourself honestly: Do I truly want this for myself? Or do I want it because it will make me look good in front of others?
So often we confuse our true passions with the need for validation. We chase after things, jobs, relationships, material possessions, achievements, because of how others might view us, not because they actually bring us peace or fulfillment. We think, “If I get this, people will respect me. If I achieve that, they will finally accept me.” But at the end of the day, living for applause is the fastest way to lose yourself.
The truth is, no matter what you do, people will always have opinions. Some will clap, some will criticize, and some won’t even notice. If your happiness depends on their acceptance, you’ll always feel empty.
But when you want something because it aligns with your values, because it gives you purpose, because it fills your soul with energy, that’s when life feels meaningful. That’s when you can look in the mirror and be proud, regardless of who’s watching.
Do it for you. Not for the likes. Not for the claps. Not for the approval of people who may not even care tomorrow. At the end of the day, the world’s validation is temporary, but the peace that comes from living authentically is forever.
Choose goals that make your heart come alive, not ones that only look good on the outside. Because the only person who has to live with your choices every day… is you.
