TARLAC CITY, Tarlac โ€“ In a bid to strengthen public service delivery at the grassroots level, the Provincial Government of Tarlac, led by Governor Christian Yap and Vice Governor Estelita Aquino, officially distributed 80 new tuk-tuk units to barangays on Monday, October 7.

The turnover ceremony saw 51 tuk-tuks allocated to barangays in District 1 and 29 units to District 3, as part of the provinceโ€™s efforts to improve mobility and emergency response in local communities.

โ€œLayunin po natin na mas mapalapit ang tulong at serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan,โ€ Yap said during the distribution.

The governor emphasized that the vehicles are intended to enhance the capacity of local officials to respond to urgent needs, emergencies, and various government programs.

โ€œ80 na barangay ang makakatanggap ngayon ng mga tuk-tuk. Ang gusto natin dito, mabigyan ng halos lahat ng 511 barangay natin ng isang tuk-tuk,โ€ Yap stated.

The governor also reminded barangay officials to properly maintain the units, stressing that the vehicles are essential tools for delivering services to constituents.

โ€œNagpapasalamat ako sa lahat ng mga barangay natin. Walang sawang bumibiyahe, pumupunta sa opisina para magbigay ng ibaโ€™t ibang request: tulong sa mga nangangailangan, mga scholarships niyo, dahil โ€˜pag hindi kayo gumagalaw, mahirap tumulong,โ€ he added.

In addition to the tuk-tuks, Yap announced that each recipient barangay will receive a โ‚ฑ3,000 Petron gas card. He also revealed that the provincial government is procuring electric buses as part of efforts to modernize transportation and is establishing colleges in the province.

The governor called for unity among barangays to ensure the continued improvement of services for Tarlaqueรฑos.

โ€œAlagaan niyo โ€˜yong mga tuk-tuk at tuloy-tuloy lang ang ating pagseserbisyo. Dapat magkaisa na ang mga barangay para sa mas magandang serbisyo ng ating mga kababayan,โ€ Yap concluded.

The initiative is expected to significantly enhance the mobilization and responsiveness of local government units, bringing government services closer to residents across the province.

Ginanap kahapon (October 6, 2026), ang Program Launch and Training Program, Solid Waste Management Operations (SWMO) Level III Training, sa Concepcion, Tarlac, Municipal Government Center.

Ito ay isang Partnership Program ng TESDA, Coca-Cola Philippines at ng Lokal na Pamahalaan ng Concepcion, na may layuning patatagin ang Building Skills, Promoting Responsible Waste Management.

Palakasin ang implementasyon at pag-aaral sa Local Waste Management Operation- makabuluhang hakbang tungo sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan, pag-aalaga sa kalikasan, palakasin at palawakin ang kaalaman sa komunidad, at gawing luntian ang paligid.

Concepcion Tarlac- Nagpatupad ng Cease and Desist Order sa isang establishment sa Barangay San Nicolas Balas, ng bayang ito, dahil sa pag-ooperate nang walang valid business permit, alinsunod sa R.A. 7160 (Local Government Code) nitong nakalipas na September 24, 2026.

Pinangunahan ng Business Permits ang Licensing Office, Municipal Veterinay Office, Sanitation Inspector, kasama ang ilang kagawad ng Concepcion-PNP.

CONCEPCION, Tarlac โ€” Agricultural connectivity in this municipality is set to receive a major boost following a โ‚ฑ71.5-million agreement to construct four new Farm-to-Market Road (FMR) projects spanning 5.43 kilometers.

The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO III) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Tarlac 2nd District Engineering Office formally inked a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on September 10 in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The pact was signed by DA-RFO III Regional Executive Director Dr. Eduardo Lapuz Jr. and DPWH Tarlac 2nd District Engineer Edward Ricardo Ramos. Funded under the General Appropriations Act (GAA) FY 2026, the four concrete road networks aim to streamline the transport of produce and lower logistics costs for local farmers.

Under the agreement, joint revalidation and geotagging of the approved FMR sites will precede construction to ensure strict compliance with DA technical standards.

DA-RFO III will handle technical reviews, field coordination, and monitoring of both physical and financial progress. Meanwhile, the DPWH Tarlac 2nd DEO will manage the procurement process, contract awards, quality control, and direct construction supervision.

Upon completion, both agencies will conduct a final joint inspection before turning over the roads to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Concepcion, which will take full responsibility for ongoing operations and maintenance.

High-level officials attended the signing ceremony, including Undersecretary for Agro-Marine Industrial Systems Arrey Perez, Assistant Secretary Engr. Eduardo Destura, Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering OIC-Director Engr. Noemi Carpio, and DA-RFO III Regional Technical Director Dr. Arthur Dayrit.

Once completed, these pave-over infrastructure improvements are expected to significantly transform Concepcionโ€™s agricultural supply chain by preventing post-harvest losses, enhancing market access, and providing long-term economic relief to hundreds of local farming households across the covered barangays.

Art Activity para sa PWD, isinagawa ng lokal na pamahalaan

Concepcion, Tarlac- Matagumpay na naisagawa ang isang makabuluhang Art Activity para sa mga Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) na ginanap sa Concepcion Municipal Government Center, kamakailan.

Ang aktibidad na ito ay pinangunahan ni Mayor Noel Villanueva, kasama ang MSWD at Municipal Legal Office, na may layuning maging inklusibo at pantay-pantay ang pagpapahalaga at serbisyo para sa lahat.

Kaantabay sa nasabing aktibidad ang Guhit Art Studio sa gabay nina Joyce Dela Rosa - Villafana, Atty. Mariemeir Marcos - Rivera, at mga g**o ng Special Needs Education Center (SNEd), ANHS, at Growing Kids Learning Center.
