Yesterday felt like Monday. Today felt like Sunday.

Funny, considering yesterday was Friday and today is Saturday.

Yesterday started with too little sleep, oven troubles, and ended with a downpour. One of those days where everything feels heavier than it should.

This morning felt different.

My husband and I took an early walk around the bay. The air was cooler, the water was calm, fishermen were already out, and the sky reminded me that every day arrives with a clean slate.

Nothing changed overnight, but somehow everything felt lighter.

Sometimes all it takes is a sunrise, a quiet walk, and a little perspective.

Days 11โ€“15 of my 30-Day Pincha Challenge โœจ

No trending audio this time.

Just the raw clips, the wobbles, the falls, the heavy breathing, and the occasional few seconds of balance.

Itโ€™s tempting to only share the polished moments, but the truth is that most of the practice happens hereโ€”in the repetition, the failed attempts, and the decision to try again.

Some days I felt steady.
Some days I couldnโ€™t find my balance at all.

Iโ€™m learning that progress isnโ€™t just about holding the pose longer. Itโ€™s also about becoming more patient with the process.

On to Day 16. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Interesting discovery: I can hit Zone 2 more easily during yoga than on a 5K walk. ๐Ÿ˜…

If I want to stay in Zone 2 on foot, I need to jog or run rather than just walk.

Struggling to lift into Pincha Mayurasana?

Before you focus on kicking up, build strength and awareness through Dolphin Plank and Dolphin Walks. This drill helps you:

โœ“ Strengthen your shoulders and upper backโœ“ Learn to protract the shoulder bladesโœ“ Build stability on your forearmsโœ“ Develop the strength needed for a lighter Pincha

Remember: keep pushing the floor away, shoulders stacked over elbows, and avoid collapsing into your upper back.

Save this for your next inversion practice and let me know if you'd like more Pincha drills. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Modified Chaturanga is not a shortcutโ€”itโ€™s a smart way to build strength, alignment, and body awareness within your vinyasa practice.

By lowering the knees, you can focus on keeping the elbows close, engaging the core, and controlling the descent instead of collapsing into the shoulders.

Progress comes from consistent practice, not forcing the full expression too soon. ๐Ÿ’›
